Two Years Into Osteoarthritis

I started walking to relieve some of my “multiple site” osteoarthritis. Its Winter here in Wisconsin, so getting out there is hit and miss, depending on the road conditions. My docs at the VA wont prescribe anything for this condition except Ibuprofen. Ive read that ibuprofen breaks down the cartilage in the joints, so I try not to use it very often, only when I cant stand the pain or need to get some sleep/nighttime relief. I takes lots of Omega 3 fish oil suppliments, and several vitamins as well as do greens, chia seeds, black cumin seed, multicollegen powder and joint pills. Im not sure that any of this is doing any good as Im still in pain everyday. I do exercises from the physical therapist and go to the Chiropractor too. I have an exercise bike, but get really tired and winded when I ride it. Also, I had a knee replacement last April which is still painfull. I really dont know what the answer is here. Im 65 and realize Ill probably have to live the rest of my life in pain. Any comments appreciated. Judy
