My mum has painful arthritis and we are considering using CBD oil to manage it, leaving a 4 hour gap between medicine. Just wondering what people's experience has been ???

CBD oil with AF and blood thinners
Please discuss this idea with your pharmacist as these people have lots of data on interactions etc. We are not medically trained so should not comment.
There is no scientific evidence of interactions, however no controlled studies have been done and there may be anecdotal episodes of possible problems.
Hi JoanneG45. I tried CBD oil for my osteoarthritis but immediently went into AF. When I discussed it with the CBD company I was told although they cannot advise on meds or AF etc that the CBD oil opens up the blood vessels so this may cause issues. I haven't tried it again as I am very symptomatic while in AF. Hope this helps.
I would have been keen to try CBD oil although I only know many friends with anxious dogs who have used it for their dogs. For joint pain in dogs anecdotally it works, as in humans to avoid NSAIDs. which cause problems. It has also controlled seizures in one dog who had liver issues with seizure drugs.( personal friend)
HOWEVER, no info no research yet and no guarantee of the content, believe it may also have anticoagulant properties and so NOT worth the risk .
Joanne,
Consider trying Turmeric. It helps my wife and I quite a bit. it's really a spice/food and has few interactions. My wife who has bad arthritis takes 6 a day (2=800mg for kind we bought), I take 2 capsules once a day and use it as a component of my natural blood thinning as I do NOT and will NOT take any of the other proscribed poisons. I have been off of Warfarin since December 2014.
