Most of the folks on this forum have a wonderful, empathetic spirit that is quite comforting and makes me wish I could say things in such a way. Forgive me for being such a 'redneck' and blunt, and sometimes sarcastic person in words. I try to remember that sarcasm is like sulfuric acid to relationships. I don't ever mean to offend, though. Thank you for all your help and encouragement.

Oh, and this photo is quite old, say, 5 years. I still had some hair. The MTX is taking care of that now. 😃

Me neither. I wouldn't worry over it though, we can all be a bit like that sometimes. RD is a devil of a disease & I tend to withdraw when I know I've got it on me, or when I'm reminded by my h! So, if you do become overly brusque do we have the permission to tell you so?! 😘

Absolutely

I haven't noticed any brusqueness so all's well. Suffering as I do from foot-in-mouth I tend not to realise what's going on. Hugs anyway

Never noticed but don't you find the written word can be read by people who take different meanings from it rather than what you meant. !

Ive come a cropper a couple of times , I just explained and moved on .....

Most of here are lovely so enjoy the site. Ps lovely photo x

I have never noticed, but there are a lot of answers here that i agree with.xxx

I think messages can be mis- read too. Its not always how its written, it can also depend on how the recipiant is feeling that day, (sad, angry, or frustrated, ) a txt can be taken totally out of context and read in the wrong way as to how its meant! Ive found everyone on this forum has excellent communication skills! albeit in a different way, were all different human beings! with our own personal journey. Keep well Nana71 🤗X

And some do look to be offended as well. Take anything out of context and it can be made to look offensive. I've not read anything, don't worry say how you feel and there can be keyboard warriors just trying to create problems. Sometimes its hard but as long as your true to yourself then really how can you offend. We all have different life experiences which colour our opiouns. Look forward to more posts from you.

Hi Nanna, What an interesting post! I wonder why you say as you do?

Some people are naturally empathetic. Others learn along the way from what they read and how others express themselves. I believe most have a good heart. Some simply can't express in words how they feel. Others ( like me) express perhaps too much for some to cope with. I think empathy is linked very much to respect. Treat others how you would like to be treated and don't treat others how you wouldn't like to be on the receiving end of your own words.

Open forums, open crowds bring very different people. They differences in personalities occur everywhere. Politics on TV - say no more! Ha! If there was a tsunami, would we help each other despite our differences?? Hell yes! Of course we would. I think the differences in personalities is deliberate on this earth to make the world thrive! Can you imagine if we were all the same 😊. I do admire that you have thought of this and openly expressed it. Says a lot! Xxx

Don’t know what your talking about nanna71.... I can relate to your hair loss though, mine was once lovely, curly, coloured with mixed foils, now it’s white, frizzy and like a wizards 🤣 too scared to colour it.
