Is this the start of osteoarthritis?
I am a 21 year old female. I used to be anorexic and bad a pretty bad exercise addiction - running around 20km daily. Now running about 7 km a day and have lately been feeling like there is some sort of strange feeling when I folded my leg at the knee and straightened it out back . Its hard to describe

Should I continue with ankle arthritis and sore knees?
Hi I’ve just finished my 6th couch to 5k run but am having a lot of stiffness and pain in my ankle (prone to this as 10 year old injury lead to arthritis) and knees feel a bit stiff and uncomfortable. I have expensive new brooks trainers and really want to do it but should I continue? Will it make arthritis

Leaky gut? New arthritis treatment
I can’t remember where I saw it but I read something about a new discovery that leaky gut is linked to arthritis and some gut medications being used for arthritis as a result. Does anyone know if this theory or indeed the research covered lupus as well? I have read about the theory in the past and was

What triggers your flares?
Hey everyone! I'm currently diagnosed with inflammatory arthritis, suspected seronegative RA waiting on an ultrasound to confirm. I am currently enjoying a dental abcess following a wisdom tooth extraction (as fun as it sounds) and my joints are so stiff and sore. I'm new to all of this so wondering

Rheumatoid arthritis + PMR?
I had some painful swelling in my foot behind the toes for about 2 weeks and then it faded away. I saw the specialist rheumatoid nurse today and as she was checking me over, she spotted the remains of the swelling and thinks that I might have rheumatoid arthritis as well as PMR. Has anyone else got

INFLAMMATORY OSTEOARTHRITIS What is this diagnosis? Where can I find information about this?
Help please. I have been diagnosed with Inflammatory Osteoarthritis, Fibromyalgia, Lumbar and Cervical spine stenosis. I have not been given any information about INFLAMMATORY OSTEOARTHRITIS and can’t find much about it either. No ongoing support advice regarding this diagnosis. Feeling alone and frustrated

JOBCENTRE UPDATE
Afternoon folks, At the moment I'm claiming JSA and have a few months until it runs out. It's safe and won't be stopped. Made a complaint about the advisor and her attitude. Who else has she bullied? A suggestion has been made to put in for early retirement on the grounds of ill health and don't worry

Arthritis and ankle surgery query
Has anyone had ankle fusion surgery? I’ve been advised to have an external framework to give the operation a better chance of working. It’s an old injury operated years ago, now developed arthritis and scan showed bones weren’t fused. Thoughts welcome.

Has anyone achieved a reduction in fatigue from PMR through the introduction of tocilizumab (Actemra) into their treatment regimen?
Lately it seems as though my fatigue and depression are getting worse. I've had PMR for about 3 years now and it seems as though I am going downhill in so far as exhaustion is concerned. I almost have no desire, and to some extent, no ability to get anything done. I have read that the IL6 pathway is

My knees sound like an old door and occasionally ache but I'm only 21? I have run everyday for the past 4 years though, is it osteoarthritis?

Early signs
I'm 59 and waking up in morning with stiffness in lumbar region of back. Sometimes feels stiff in the hole lower spine area. Once I'm up and moving it goes away. Doctor said it could be a form of arthritis and has sent me for some blood tests. Anyone else had similar?

Does anyone take Naproxin for Arthritis pain?
Hi everyone, a quick summary for you. Two ablations, last one five and a half years ago. No meds and just one six hour stint in A&E seven months ago. My problem is arthritis in my right shoulder. I'm three months in to recovery from having fifteen loose bodies removed, a full synovectomy, a full bursectomy

Worried that the pain in my knees is osteoarthritis?
Wondering how knee pain started off for everybody. Currently mine only comes on during running, going up and down stairs and after sitting cross legged. It is a dull kind of pain and hurts when I press on it, it’s on the outside of my knee. Could it still be osteoarthritis?
