I'm back, albeit slow and steady
I did join a gym when I was not allowed to run, and I've started doing yoga classes, strength classes, along with
swimming
and spinning. I don't think I'll use the treadmills as not only do they terrify me, I think I just prefer to be outdoors.

Old newbie
I love
swimming
but he doesn’t. When we joined a gym together a few years ago we did our own thing but I would like us to do this together and try and get into weights. My posture is poor and so is my core strength. I feel self conscious and uncoordinated.

Muscle Pain, Stiffness, Soreness, Cramps. Hashimoto's Hypothyroid Exercise and Muscles.
Present day, for the last 5 months I found I could do a pool-workout without much pain afterwards......circuits of running/
swimming
in the shallow portion of the pool. I also think the cold water made my Hashimoto's inflammation less and allowed me a partial reprieve in the water.

Meds stopped - about to restart
I can’t in all honesty say I have felt very different from how I mostly normally feel, possibly a bit better, apart from after
swimming
when I feel terrible a few hours later which lasts for the rest of the day. Which is where I am right now !

Carpe Diem is still the order of the day and having had some awesome experiences this year - Mexican Mayan ruins,
swimming
with dolphins and turtles and seeing Pompeii to name a few, I'm turning my thoughts to what to do next year... :-) Love to all and stay well and positive! Em x P.S.

Swimming
easier and backstroke helps stretch my right arm but the mastectomy scar shows above my bathing suit which needs hitching up often.

Addiction
Swimming
. I've mentioned different things but somehow I never want to stop once I start coz at that moment my mind is on another level... I feel I've developed an addiction to suppress my mania's and when any of them are not around I lose it.

Similarly I’ve kept up
swimming
around a mile 3x a week but eased up on the intensity, because my right shoulder started to hurt constantly again.

Sometimes beautiful people do beautiful things 💜
It’s so easy to forget the good when you’re
swimming
in the thick of it. This simple act of kindness has really made my day. So I’m sharing those yummy vibes with you. I hope you’ve all had a a lovely cosy weekend, it’s been bloody freezing!

OCD and maintaining a career
For years I have complained to my doctors and employer that, despite the fact that I have no fear of driving or riding anything, that I constantly battle a
swimming
head, nausea, and blurred vision- particularly in the mornings but often all day long.

ET, dehydration & vagina
Thought maybe it was from being in
swimming
pool too much. Finally Calendula salve stopped cracking. She did casually mention that my blood test showed I was a little dehydrated & to drink more water, which I did.

I am already fairly fit as I am a cyclist but as my commute reduced from 4.5 to 1.2 miles each way due to personal circumstances, I have taken up running as it is easier to fit into your life than cycling (I will do both and might add
swimming
too).

Six week shake it up - the good, the bad, and the new activity
Great news about
swimming
though is that the pool closure has been reconsidered for now, it will stay open another year and then they will look again.
