So I found out about this online challenge called Race at your pace and you can choose challenges for running, walking, swimming or cycling for different lengths. You sign up for either a medal or medal & compression top and at the end of the month you submit your evidence and get the medal if you've reached the target!
I have needed the motivation since being away last week for half term and given I thought that 50 miles would be too much, I've gone for a 25 mile challenge and started this afternoon with 2.5 miles. Ooh which I've just realised is a 1/10 done already!
Anyone else fancy it? It is £10 for the medal option and £14 for medal + top (which I've gone for). The website is raceatyourpace.co.uk/

Little miss UNM’s October medal arrived today, but she’s away until Sunday.
Great motivation and for under 16’s its £7 medal only. She was very excited about getting a medal for her efforts and I’m signing her up again for November.
Yes I mentioned it to my son as I thought if he just came out for 3-4 of my runs he’d hit 10 miles but I didn’t get round to signing him up. I’ll ask him again in the morning 😀
I've signed up for the 50 miles too. Definitely need motivation now it's cold and darker. Unlike you and Becky, I haven't run yet! Will start tomorrow with Parkrun and then must try harder or I won't make it
Hi, I've just submitted my 'evidence' for my 25 miles today - just logging the C25K sessions since 1 November has brought me to 27 miles already. Looking forward to getting that medal to keep me going until the magical graduation! And the December medal is so pretty I've just signed up again - this time for 50 miles! And January I'm going to go for the swimming one (but only 2 miles for that!) Thinking ahead to the lighter evenings, the pool is about 2 miles from where I live, so I may combine the two. Wait a minute, I've always been the couch potato in the family. What has this programme done to me?????
I did my 25 miles just about! Had to squeeze in few runs this week as I’d only done 1-2 for the rest of the months but the thought of having paid to sign up definitely made me get out there more than once 😅
Giving December a break and then I’ve signed up for RED January but luckily that’s not necessarily running every day, it’s just being active 😁
