London Marathon 2024 Fundraising!
Without MPN Voice and the support of my specialist I would not have achieved both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in tandem with a full-time college
swimming
programme.

Like running in a
swimming
pool. Then I remembered a pretty little country lane I’d found once by accident.

Life with a 10 week old baby
He tries to finish work at 5pm to give me a break for an hour so I can go sea
swimming
, which really helps. He is also doing most of the cooking.

Logging exercise
I've been
swimming
over the last few weeks but it won't allow me to log it as it wasn't one of the suggested exercises. How do I log this please? Thank you!

Graves Weight Gain
Fast forward and I got a personal trainer and started working on my diet, going into calorie deficit, strength training 4x a week,
swimming
2x a week, getting 8k-10k steps a day consistently, and trying my best to reduce stress. This held my weight in place BARELY.

what free exercise do you do?
Hi, I was taking a daily walk as part of my exercise regime (as well as
swimming
). However, the pollen has put a stop to this. I’m trying to find some, free, exercises I can do in my house that’s not aerobic. I was thinking about tai chi on YouTube.

Swim or Not
After my TAVI procedure I asked about
swimming
- I saw a leaflet that cautioned about post operative - cold water - and horizontal exercise - I took the advice so cannot report on any result of ignoring it.

Managed to get out this morning
Decided a short run was best as I wasn’t sure if my daughter and grandson (3yr) wanted me to go
swimming
with them later in the morning. I was up and out at 7 into a nice rhythm straight away. Felt a bit of discomfort on both of my ankles on the outer aspects. So slowed down which helped.

Atrophic Thyroiditis?
My head is
swimming
with it all and I have loads of questions. I guess for now my main ones are: IS this in fact atrophic thyroiditis (which I believe is also called Ord’s)? If so, should I be doing anything different in my attempt to regain my health?

Does this sound like Anxiety and Depression?
I don’t find these work because I’m not triggered by anything in particular and they don’t stop my head from
swimming
/spinning.

Is it Supplementation or just life?
I will be adding cold water immersions and then
swimming
and am hopeful I will be able to discern the effect of those changes. We will see. My next trial is with Thiamine in the form of Benfotiamine and that is an unknown.

Body Temperature Regulation.
My go to that seems the most effective is open water
swimming
followed by hot shower. Pool or open water. The best is open water on a hot day then dry in the sun.

Enjoy tennis, cold water
swimming
and cycling. Diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my left hip 9 months ago, but X-ray was normal and my symptoms were less typical (pain down outer side of thigh and shin; none in hip).
