Should one asymptomatic and isolated AF episode be medicated?
At my pre op assessment (for hip
surgery
) last Monday the ECG showed AF. No symptoms at all, I walk my dogs +/- 4 miles daily. My BP machine shows normal resting heart rate and BP. So on strength of one ECG my GP has prescribed anticoagulant tabs which I know is for the AF risk of clotting.

Frequent Eye Prescription Changes and Cataract Surgery
My cataracts are significant enough that
surgery
is being considered. I have been told that a new lens will be inserted into my eye to replace the lens that is clouded by the cataract. Here are my questions: 1.

Just some good news
Just wanted to update you all on this in case anyone is thinking of
surgery
to fix something non-cancer related. My husband was looking into getting a hip replacement back in 2021 when he was diagnosed with PC. So the hip replacement was put on hold,.

Shared care agreement, should I worry?
Hi all, Having completed a T4 & T3 trial with great successes, my NHS endo is soon due to approach my local GP for a shared care agreement to enable me to collect my prescription from the
surgery
. The
surgery
is in my home town, and it will be infinitely easier if this happens.

Heart failure (HFpEF) and CKD with EGFR drop from 52 to 38 in 8 months - help!
However in June last year he went in for open heart valve
surgery
. He had complications after
surgery
and was put back on a ventilator for a week because I was told 'he stopped producing urine' and had a lot of fluid around his body.
