I’ve been diagnosed with endo, adeno and pcos but am refused the surgery by doctors. I’m struggling with endo belly, leg pain, belly/ribs/back pain, extreme tiredness and I’m starting to struggle mentally.

Well the time as come for my disabled son to go into hospital to have dental surgery ( we’ve waited 2 years ) I’m so anxious for for him which is affecting my breathing abit I get anxious in general but he’s got to have surgery in his jaw to move a tooth that has grown down instead of up he went

Sorry I know this might sound like a stupid question, but I've been discharged from hospital without any information or signposting, besides being told I have a 7cm endometrial cyst and I might have surgery in future. Does this mean I have endometriosis?

Very fortunate still to have a chance for cure — Gleason 9 with post surgery LN involvement, but no distant mets detected. Received RT and about half way through a 2-year course of Lupron. PSA undetectable; tolerable SEs.

I've just had a letter from my local surgery saying following my suggestion they will now take the pulse of people who attend for annual exams (blood pressure, diabetes etc) to see if they are asymptomatic AF sufferers. A positive result to then be referred for ECG etc. A small victory.

My wife is having open heart surgery in June to repair tricuspid valve and getting maze for afib...she is 78 and scared...Any tips on what to expect would be helpful...

Phone call first thing from Surgery. Please could you drop in a fresh urine sample. OK yes no problem, take it to GP surgery and nurse says, "will test now" Hm yes still very small traces of blood and also small evidence of Leuokocytes, could be due to UTI.

I've preemptively sent to my local surgery information showing my normal is anything but. Anyway, coming to yourselves for input and wisdom - ok help - with regards to any questions you think I should ask my GP next Monday? Many thanks Lorna-Jane

Hi all, I’ve been suffering with pain for years at first I thought it was back related pain from having my children but after lots of tests they’ve found endometriosis in my pelvic ligaments, I’m currently on a waiting list for surgery and I’m taking double desogestrel tablets and strong painkillers

And my WBC count jumped around between 25 and 40 after my appointment during a hospital stay after surgery in late August. I’m feeling tired, but I attribute it possibly to still recovering from abdominal surgery. I see my hematologist’s PA on October 7 for follow-up bloodwork.

The ECG is done by a nurse at the GP surgery. Thank you for your advice.

Before my surgery I had a Laminectomy for Severe Spinal Stenosis. Unfortunately this failed so after a couple of months I was back to square one with my pain with the added complication that a lot of the normal pain relief is not available to me because of the Heart Failure.

Hi - I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in August after it was found accidentally during a keyhole surgery. I am 45 and had a total abdominal hysterectomy with ovary removal 2 weeks ago and am waiting to hear the pathology results for the Stage and next treatment steps.

How long after a appointment with the anesthetist did people get booked for surgery or have surgery? I'm anxious I've just started a new job and feel like I'm not far off surgery now. Hope everyone's well Annabel

He suggests aqueous shunt surgery very soon … pressure is now 38 and I must make a quick decision . My body will probably heal shunt surgery in same way as it did trap door of trab .I have had very large amounts of dexamethasone for more than a year . I will go blind without the op .

I'm familiar with tingling in my left hand since carpal tunnel surgery some years ago, so when this started in my right hand, I gave it little attention.

It’s so hard to get hold of the surgery anyway, I’m hardly going to take more than I need! Just feels like an insurance policy knowing there’s a spare packet in the cupboard!
