Third line chemotherapy, Caelyx
Surgery
to remove peritoneum and resection liver not an option. Does anyone have experience of just Caelyx? Is it effective on its own? Thankyou

Treatment plan / second opinions
Does it make sense to go to these doctors for
surgery
only or also chemo treatment etc? (My parents are about 90 mins from the Royal Marsden so wouldn't be keen for chemo or regular appts, but for perhaps
surgery
I would think it makes sense!!) Thanks so much in advance 💖

initial treatment question
We were told
surgery
or radiation were the options. The surgeon said he would remove the prostate, seminal vesicles and 2 lymph nodes. (Said these would be teated for cancer because although the scans were fine it is the only way to be sure). Gave us the option to talk to the radiation oncologist.

had my initial consultation
He suggested an MRI, he said basically that he could do
surgery
but it will be a stressful situation and that an MRI is the less invasive option. We said I’d have an MRI and he’d said I’d probably still have to have the
surgery
.

After 25 years they have stopped my B12 - what can I do?
A few days later rang me to come to the
surgery
immediately where he injected B12 himself. Apparently I had dangerously low levels of B12 that indicated I was unable to metabolise it.

Stage 4 endo really sucks!!!!
The frustration mounts as I await
surgery
through the NHS, enduring my third course of Zoladex in the meantime. It's been two years since I've been waiting for this second
surgery
, and the uncertainty and pain are incredibly difficult to bear.

7 weeks post-op, urinating still a concern
Aside from that, can't recommend the
surgery
enough, due on my 2nd period & so far, both I have had no PMDD symptoms (in comparison) which was one of the main reasons for the
surgery
:)

Laparoscopy breathing tube
I'd really appreciate if anyone could tell me their experiences of waking up after the
surgery
! Did any of you still have the tube in when you woke up?

Mitral Valve Regurgatation
I was already getting breathless on excertion ,I have since had all the relative tests needed before
surgery
for repair to valve which could be done keyhole. I was told back in June the waiting list is 12months.

What's so wrong with refusing all treatment?
I am 59 and have what is now (according to my doctor and PSA results) stage 2 prostate cancer, which my doctor insists can still be cured with
surgery
and is begging me to have, but since he told me I would forever lose any ability to have an erection, I have refused any and all treatment.

Transfer with Endometriose
Hi, I have endo and pain period, use down reg plan, doctor said don’t do
surgery
as it will affect the ovary and my endo is not very serious, I had 2 transfers one fresh, one frozen both failed So my question is: 1) can I have fresh transfer with endo?

Introducing myself
There have been mixed messages of suggesting we separate yet she loves me and wants to care for me after the
surgery
and during my recovery. It feels like she wants to be close and distant at the same time.

Was disappointed today to wake up with an episode (last one was Nov 23) as I need to have

not cosmetic).

Scoliosis
I have not opted for
surgery
. I could not see scoliosis listed as one of the conditions in the 'Neuro Support' information. Is this forum for people with scoliosis? Would appreciate any feedback. Many thanks Pegasus 2024

RSV Vaccine
I am due to have the RSV vaccine tomorrow at my GP
surgery
- at my insistence as my GP says he knows nothing about it. I am a little wary as this is a new vaccine and with CLL we are not supposed to have live vaccines.
