In January 2024 i started my infertility treatment, later they diagnosed that i have ovarian cyst so doctors decided to have laproscopy surgery in which they discovered that i have kissing ovaries. But after a month i fell pregnant naturally but after 2 months i had a miscarriage.

Blood results this morning - all liver function tests are within normal ranges, and what he has is a very boring, very standard kidney stone that should pass without surgery. So, moral of the story, never assume anything is down to liver until it's absolutely definitely down to your liver.

Is this '2 or none' thing standard practice for vaccinations this year, or is my GP surgery just being awkward? Anyone else been confronted with this 'ruling'? Don't fancy facing the winter with neither jab, but I am really worried about how my immune system is going to react.

Does anyone have any experience of pain following excision surgery and did it improve after 6 months, or did you not get any relief at all? thank you xx

For comparison I have added my thyroid results taken via my GP surgery last December, result was TSH 0.40 M/IU/L (0.27-4.2). I have started to feel quite out of sorts e.g over heated, low energy, headaches so had a blood test done with medicheck.

When I was 39 I broke my back, and even after surgery I am still disabled. But I have been denied disability 2 times. I haven't worked since 2013. I live with my father. 2 years ago he got rectal cancer. He's 82 now. He refuses to get a colostomy, and doesn't want infusion chemo.

Hi, I have just had another back surgery, fusing L5 to S1 and pelvis for nerve pain that is going down the back of my leg , front of knee and top of foot. It feels like someone has an electric cattle prod and running it up and down the back of my leg, it is horrendous.

He suggested an MRI, he said basically that he could do surgery but it will be a stressful situation and that an MRI is the less invasive option. We said I’d have an MRI and he’d said I’d probably still have to have the surgery.

I can't afford for my Heart Surgery to be postponed. How on earth do I speed up my recovery ? I still have 3 days of amoxocillin 500 to finish. I'm on my 3rd course of prednisolone and have 2 days of 40mg daily prednisolone to finish. I'm panicking my Heart Surgery will be cancelled.

Surgery went well. Biopsy showed that the growing tumor was triple negative. Seemingly the other 2 (breast and hip met) are still HER2 negative. Anyone being treated for both? Also considering a clinical trial for the triple that they found, although there is no known tumor. Thoughts?

I recently had an MRI in order for them to plan surgery and in addition to this I have now been told they would like a CT scan of my kidneys before my next appointment. They haven’t told me what if anything they have seen on the MRI that has also made them want the CT.

Surgery is planned but this has required visits to an oncologist, High Risk anaesthetist , echocardiogram and Maxillofacial surgeon. As I find the whole thing pretty scary due to the risks and my general decrepitude I may actually refuse surgery.

The surgery was a bit more complex from an anurysm but went well. Unfortunately he was taken back into surgery less than 24 hours later due to a leaking artery which was thankfully treated. He was out of ITU two days later.

I’ve still not heard about a date for surgery and as symptom worsened I emailed the consultants secretary but had no reply and I understand my doctor wrote a letter as a matter of urgency too then I was admitted to hospital where they rang to chase up my surgery only to find I wasn’t on any list they

Hi all, I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this 2 weeks post open AVR surgery please? I've been experiencing some feelings of tightness under my clavicle and last night in bed it felt even tighter and I had difficulty swallowing and taking deep breaths when lying down.

I rang surgery and got through in 2 mins which was a miracle. Was told after I explained about my call not had one that is was a booking for face to face. I didn’t realise. I called in before and asked them to apologise to her about the mix up.

Hello I was diagnosed with Gleason 3+4 in January and had surgery - clear margins and clear lymph nodes but worried and have a lot of anxiety about recurrence. Any success stories out there? Please share as I am so scared of my first PSA test in a few weeks. Thanks

I just want it over with so I can be assured that they got everything during surgery. Back to clinic in 3 month's for a scan MRI I think. Char x
