Vit blood test
Today, received a letter from
surgery
(dictated on day I dropped off my results) calling me to go for routine blood tests - was this just my routine thyroid test due in October (as far as
surgery
is concerned) or Vit blood tests?

It was an extensive
surgery
and i had 5 incisions, but i am recovering really well. I am back home and i can move around without stress, just a little pain on the scar area which is healing.

Consultant doesn't believe my diagnosis
It's too late to put in a complaint about him as my appointment was in July and my
surgery
took ages to approve my request for my records but is there anything that I can do if he tries to dispute my asthma diagnosis and take me off my treatment once I've had my breathing tests?

PATIENT EXPERIENCE OF NIVOLUMAB
Would you have preferred to have chemotherapy treatment prior to

surgery
and if so why? If you are happy to comment, please get in touch, no personal details are needed, but discussing it with you will help us put together the document on behalf of patients.

Sleeping 12 hours per night and Low T4
Having had unrelated
surgery
the hospital advised me that my blood tests showed T4 below range. I feel OK but I do sleep too much needing 12+ hours per night. Is it possible to add T4 to NDT?

endo in mid 40s and questions…
The last
surgery
was a good 5 years ago now and I just know it (or something) is back. The old tell tale signs are so frequent.

Daughters bloods, awful GP's
Checking on another matter with
surgery
accidentally found out she had an appointment that afternoon (fri 15th) seen by Doc i had handed Pas, info to. Disappointed, said she had read info, told her about new guidelines , she said she had browsed them too, basically didn't get it at all.

CT GUIDED NERVE ROOT INJECTION LUMBAR.
In a letter to my
surgery
the last consultant wrote that because the first injection I had only lasted 6 months then there is no point in having an injection now. What I would like to know is if any one has had this sort of injection how long did it last for.

Pharmacist blocking prescription
It was blocked so I phone the
surgery
no easy thing as you hang on for what seems hours, couldn't even get through first night. Next day when I finally get through the receptionist says I was due a review on 31st August ! No one told me and I have had a prescription since then anyway.

Mom and ICU
After the
surgery
she was groggy but responsive. On day 2 post op my mom started having delirium (hospital psychosis) and began complaining about increasing abdominal pain. She also quit eating because of it.

"Run, definitely run"
Any Avatar fans out there might remember Sigourney Weaver saying this.More recently, the cancer nurse at my cli7nic appointment before my
surgery
used exactly the same words in the same tone of voice when I asked if I should continue to run or rest between then and the operation.
