Breakthrough during surgery
I requested the first
surgery
but was the second one scheduled at 9 a.m. The previous
surgery
went over. My
surgery
was delayed until 11:30 am. I was prepped in the preop room during the delay. I requested to stand by my bed where I paced to help prevent a breakthrough of symptoms.

TUBAL SURGERY
Hi 👋 Anyone know where I can get tubal
surgery
to unblock both fallopian tubes. Our ivf has failed and I do not want to go through this ever again but the doctor left us with no other choice or options.

Has anyone had non-liver related
surgery
, such as a knee or hip? I guess the primary risk would be infection and types of anesthesia and antibiotics..? Is anyone familiar with this?

ET / Osteonecrosis / Surgery
If
surgery
is inevitable, what extra cautionary measures should ET patients take? With ET JAK2 diagnosed 11 years ago, I've been on Litalir, changed to Anagrelide 2 years ago and for the last 4 months on Rux.

Weight Loss Surgery
However, I'm being encouraged to go the
surgery
route. My BMI is around 37 but I'm type 2 diabetic and have high blood pressure. I'm concerned for my kidney with all the diet restrictions attached to weight loss
surgery
. Has anyone had the
surgery
post transplant?

Brain Surgery Recovery
After brain
surgery
as I had, or any type of
surgery
, it can be difficult to get back into life. It takes time and patience. Those 2 words I now hate. But it’s important to commit yourself to get thru the anxiety and depression.

Private Endo Surgery
Hi everyone, For those of you who have had
surgery
for endo treated privately can you share what I can expect at my inital consultation, what next steps were? I have preemptively sent my most recent MRI/Ultrasound and medical history. Was an examination carried out at first consult?

Surgery Today!
I’m having spinal
surgery
today in my neck. So glad it’s finally happening but rather nervous too. I have cervical stenosis and myelopathy so I’m hoping this operation will stop the progression of spinal cord damage 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻. Has anyone else had this happen.

Travel after surgery
Heyy everyone, I'm going I for
surgery
to remove endometriosis on the 20th of May, I'm probs just being para but I go on holiday a month after, does anyone know if it's fine to fly after that time? 4 weeks is a decent amount of time so I'm assuming it will be fine😅

knee surgery
I have a constant cough since I contacted COVID in 2023, resulting in Haemophilus influenzae! I have been prescribed 6 different antibiotics and Doxycycline for past three months but still showing in sputum! I am due for knee replacement with spinal block soon do you think this will be possible?

Cataract Surgery
Hi all, Im going for cataract
surgery
next week on my right eye. I’ve been advised to do very little for the first 4 days. Also that I’m not to bend over or lift anything , not to strain or cough to hard for about 4 weeks.

Facing thyroid surgery?
Shortly after that, I got a curt letter informing me that as I did not want to follow their course of treatment (i.e consent to
surgery
) there was nothing they could do for me and I was being referred back to my GP.

Recent surgery
Had the
surgery
last week. Had to get second operation to address post operative internal bleeding. I have a lot of bruising from the ribs to my vagina and my abdomen is very swollen. The most interesting thing is that the surgeon did not find any Endometriosis inside of me.
