Heyy everyone, I'm going I for surgery to remove endometriosis on the 20th of May, I'm probs just being para but I go on holiday a month after, does anyone know if it's fine to fly after that time? 4 weeks is a decent amount of time so I'm assuming it will be fine😅

I should think you'll be fine and the vitamin D will do you the world of good. Just get someone else to lift your suitcase x

I would check with your surgeon. Each surgery has a safe to fly timeline. I was in no fit state to go anywhere 4 weeks after my surgery but my endo was very extensive, so yours might not be so bad, just make sure you’re insured from now. Hope it all goes ok xx

Hi ! It depends on your surgery and on how you're feeling! I was in no state after 4 weeks to go anywhere but other people are. Check with your surgeon what they think and whatever they say add an extra week to it x

It’ll depend how far you’re flying….. I was advised not to travel for more than 7 hours for 3 months. I assumed this was 7hours in a plan, but I had nothing planned so didn’t clarify.

Ask your surgeon..….. its likely you’ll feel just fine (I do 1month post lap), but I think this advice is related to the anaesthetic and risk of DVT so worth double checking.
