waiting for surgery
hi all not been on here for same time, I've started my new role at work due to my redeployment because of my AF/heart failure condition. It's been 15 months now still waiting for my operation to replace my aortic and valve. I've seen my cardiac consultant who asked me if I had my operation yet,of course

Post surgery
I am 3 weeks after open heart
surgery
to repair my mitral valve. I am still wearing compression socks but for the last 3 days one of my ankles has been swallen. Is this normal weeks after
surgery
? Getting a GP appointment is almost impossible so wanted to know if anyone else experienced this.

Surgery or radiotheraphy?
My husband is really struggling to decide between radiotherapy and
surgery
and I wondered if anyone else had been through a similar experience?

Surgery- failed
My
surgery
was in other hospital so I've been referred back to my oncologist. They haven't contacted me yet. Looks like I've been abandoned now with no hope. Any advice would be appreciated Xxx

Upcoming Foot Surgery
I'm having outpatient foot
surgery
in June. What should I be thinking about with regard to my RLS? I have read that I should ask for Zofran for anitinausea. Is that correct? Anything else I should be be talking to my doctor about? Thank you!

RLS and surgery
I am scheduled for hip replacement
surgery
in the near future. Recently I have seen several posts stating that any
surgery
will cause increased RLS . Honestly, I am now very concerned and anxious about this. Because I take Belbuca, I will not be able to use opioids post-op.

Surgery or not.
The 2 being radioactive iodine and
surgery
. Her opinion being
surgery
was the best one for my age(48) even with the risks and even with having to take a pill then forever. I was diagnosed with Graves a year ago and hospitalised with symptoms.

Heart bypass surgery
My boyfriend has recently been under the cardiologist for tests following mild angina symptoms and is now booked in for heart bypass
surgery
. It's all happened quite quickly and is a lot to get your head around as we certainly werent expecting it. His
surgery
is scheduled for 3 weeks time.

has anyone done laparoscopic for removing tumor partly in the pancreas tail and stomach?
I was told that I needed a
surgery
instead of laparoscopic because of the sensitive location of my 3.1 cm tumor. It’s actually in my pancreas tail and part of my stomach from a non-invasive
surgery
, It will be a major
surgery
, which will be is 5 to 7. They stay in the hospital.
