Mycophenolate begone!
Hi, was going to post on Barnclowns myco thread but decided that any negative reaction to mycophenolate probably should go somewhere else. Spoiler alert - not a positive post having not been posting here for a long time though I do read every day. I have SLE / RA / Fibro, Reynauds, possibly vasculitis

Worse after Steroid Injection
My husband was given a steroid injection in a Rheumatology Clinic last Thursday, by a Rheumatologist who barely spoke English. He tests positive for RA. but had to stop Hydroxychloroquine because of eye problems. Don't know what steroid they injected but he is complaining of a worsening of pain in

ischial tuberosity pain
I've had ischial tuberosity pain on both sides for 18 months. I can't be sure what started it off, maybe a fall I had a month earlier. I do have a sacroilliac joint problem and some degeneration of the 5th transitional vertebra of the spine. I've had steroid injections.. didn't last. Acupuncture...

Yet another AI disease
Hi All, I have just been diagnosed with this two days ago. My GP sent me to A&E as she thought I may have had a blood clot as the pain across my chest, shoulders etc was quite bad and my chest sounded ok. However blood tests and X-ray ruled this out. I was showing inflammation across my rib cage and

Can't sleep!
I had my knee aspirated what is now yesterday afternoon, and was given a steroid injection into the joint. It's now 04:00 and I am wide awake but exhausted. Have any of you had a joint steroid shot and then had insomnia? Not worried, just curious and whiling away the hours!!!

I'm still waiting for some answers to my question on how long does Rituximab take to work. I've been waiting over ten week without any success, any advice would be gratefully excepted. God bless you all. One more thing I would like to mention I've been in so much pain since I started this drug, they've

PsA Intramuscular steroid injections Part 2
So - two and a bit weeks on, and I'm boiling mad! I realised that the pain I was experiencing was different from PsA, and called the GP out. He diagnosed bursitis in my knee, which he said was more related to osteoarthritis than PsA, and which I suspect was triggered by my attempts at exercising, and
