Eat like the Queen
I've been binge-watching this guy's videos lately, and came across this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M7j7x_ojSHk It turns out that HM is a low-carb fan ... although mainly, it seems, as a cunning plan to offset the indulgence of afternoon tea. Skip through to 8:23 if you don't have time for the whole

Clopidrogel and vitamins
Is it safe to take vitamin k2 with Clopidrogel? Does Vit k2 affect clotting like Vit K1 does? I know you have to be careful with Vit k with warfin. I take k2 with my Vit D3 & magnesium ... I thought Vit k2 was essential for getting calcium into the bones. But donāt want to take it if it is going to

Saturated fat: extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof
Humans have been eating saturated fats since before we were human, before we were hominids, before we were primates, before we were mammals. Seed oils have been around in quantity for a little over 100 years. Rapeseed oil/canola was poisonous until the 1970s. The claim that a fat that we have been eating

Singer with Severe/Brittle Asthma (non-allergic)
Hey everyone, 24 yr old female here. I'm currently on 184/22 Relvar Ellipta and Salbutamol after trying every other inhaler available. They didn't work and made it even worse; Relvar now works but the GP says it's the strongest medication they have that works for non-allergic asthma. My triggers are:

Kidney disease (category 3) and rising cholesterol level
Does anyone have cholesterol issues? I am so happy that stopping dairy and watching my protein intake (mostly plant based now) has helped me raise my gfr from level 3 to level 2 but yesterdayās meeting with my dr revealed that I now have cholesterol issues. Hard to believe...I was always a low carb eater

6-day Autophagy Fast
I am not expecting any of you to join me - but this might be of interest. I have been doing a 100-hour water fast every month, but I do not need to lose weight, so I do not need the calorie restriction of a water fast - and I do get low on energy on a 100-hour water fast. I do not have diabetes or any

ADVICE NEEDED 1
Hi Fellow sufferers. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in December 2017. Like most on here, it has been an uphill struggle getting anywhere with the doctor. They prescribe Levothyroxine then send you away as if thatās problem solved. You go back time and time again saying you donāt feel any better

Immunological Markers
Hi all, I've received a confusing letter after my last frustrating consultant appointment. The consultant states that my Immunological Markers show that I don't need to be on high dose steroids. What markers are these? The only blood tests I've had done whilst in this flare was when I was also on pred

Fun fact of the day
Prof. Henry Lardy was an American biochemist specializing in metabolism and dairy science (history does not record whether he also had an interest in pigs). I like to think that if he'd still been alive today, he would have published lots of papers on LCHF.

Desperate and worried
Hi. I don't write much but read the posts often and find them amazing - so considerate and informative. My condition has deteriorated and I want to query this amazing group to see if any advice or similar experiences to draw from. Please forgive long post. Background: 63 yo Male in US. Mild asthma
