I am trying to get my head round the LCHF diet. Can anyone recommend a book or online site I can read up and follow with recipes etc. Thanks

Welcome aboard
I agree, the link Subtle_Badger has given is a great starting point. Explanations are clear, you'll get to know which are the higher and lower carb foods and you'll be able to put together meals based on those, according to your tastes. There are also plenty of recipes to try out, and no charge for using the site.
Good luck
I agree about the DietDoctor website. If you are interested in books I found Michael Moseley's books helpful. The 8 week blood sugar diet and Fast 800. There are recipe books to go with them too with some lovely recipes in.
I use the recipe book all the time and the meals in there are delicious even if you don't want to follow the 800 calorie plan 👍
Thanks for help. I saw the Diet Doctor but it looks like you have to pay. I’ll check again.
Hi! It's not necessary to pay for anything on DietDoctor website. Plenty of free advice, information and recipes available.
Yup. There is a ton of free stuff, you can sign up for a two week challenge for absolutely free, and their paid product has a 30 day free trial.
And if you did decide to pay in the end, your money could not go to a better ethical site. The membership fees is their only income to cover all the free content. Their founder only takes home a doctor's salary, everything else is ploughed back into the website
Good answers. I recommend Undoctored by William Davis. It's a real eye opener.
I started about 3 years ago and found wwwdietdoctor.com excellent. I didn't join or pay anything, just the free stuff, great advice in photo form was really helpful.I also found Dr Berg on YouTube to be good as well. He has masses of videos, ones for starters, and loads on specific issues.
Thanks for advice x
