Vitamin K and D
Hi, I've been supplementing vitamin D for a while (before the pandemic) and have added vitamin K. Because I had a lot of vitamin D tablets to use up, I bought vitamin K separately. I'm not sure however how much is safe or appropriate to take. The ones I have are 100mcg which seems like a lot. I've been

Summer 2021 GMU Race Report
Knew it wouldn’t be perfect because Dundry Hill, at the end of the course, would

for most of the course seemed about right. Unfortunately, I’d forgotten to disable auto pause so every slight delay made it less and less accurate.

Weight loss & tachycardia
Weight loss & tachycardia Can weight loss make your heart beat sound louder? Is weight loss associated with increased tachycardia? I’ve had paroxysmal AF for 8 years. 1 cryablation, 1 RF ablation which has reduced my AF. I go in to AF about once every six weeks, usually in my sleep and CV with pip

Overlooked for vaccine, apparently not vulnerable !
My husband has eosinophilic asthma, takes fostair 200/6, montelukast, flixonaise and more. He has just finished a course of prednisone. He went to Dr last week and asked about vaccine and was told that because he hasn't had a hospital admission in the past 3 months he wasn't classed as severe so

Alcoholic liver cirrhosis and kidney failure
Hi, I am new to this site. My husband (age 42) was admitted to the hospital in February, as his blood results showed a very high bilirubin count and high CRP. He was yellow and also he had a distended abdomen. However, a day later he was back at home with some antibiotics and laxatives. Since discharge

Tips for dealing with Drs who don't get peak flow is personal...
I've finally got my (re-)referral appointment tomorrow but unfortunately with the same doctor who told me I needed to reduce my meds as my peak flow was too high 🤦🏻♀️, this was despite needing ventolin a few times a week and having quite large daily and day to day variability in my peak flow. She
