Vaccination question
But when I started
running
I had no energy at all and ended cutting it short and walking home. I do hope it’s the effect of the boosters. Anyone else got any experience of this?

However I did feel in the zone and was
running
well. The good type of run where you feel like you could just keep going so I stretched it to 10.5km. My longest run so far and lo and behold I managed a PB 1 hour 6 mins. Feeling very happy!🎖️

Back on the road
Ideally I'd still like to build up to
running
for longer, as I planned after my original graduation, but I want to take it very easy and simply run for a while. Whether I'm out for 10 minutes or 35 minutes is not relevant at the moment; I know that when I can do it, the
running
will do me good.

Here I go again... again....UPDATE
Runner's World Good afternoon,
running
people... Here I am again.. and today... I, and perhaps some, of you are about to think about starting a new
running
route... or incorporating it, into your
running
plans.

Week 2, Run 2 done, ouch those ankles!!!
breaking up for Christmas), pretty breezy but still mild enough.Plodded round the estates, a bit of a struggle today as both my ankles were hurting each time they made contact with the concrete, I think it's just a case of getting in the runs and miles, obviously a bit more pressure on the ankles when

Nrc 10k plan run 1 week 3
Yes I'm old and slow but I'm reasonably fit I think, certainly compared with what I used to be before I started
running
five years ago. So today I decided I'd just ignore it, run entirely by feel and be grateful that I can do it at all. And it was good. Coach Bennett chatted away.

I really want to do this, loving the feeling of
running
, and finding the psychological lift fantastic. Please don't say I have to stop!!!!

My first Parkrun
In reality I’ve been doing less
running
as the bad weather has set in. But I’ve been absolutely determined to do my first Parkrun before the end of 2023.

I'm still
running
! I just can't keep up with anything again, so I'm late with the recording as well. Nothing special, a tired run after a flu shot and about four hours of sleep. But I'm not giving up yet! :-)

Week 7 Run 2✅
I spent nearly all day sitting about in
running
gear thinking about going for a run. I missed the pre lunch window so thought I’d better eat first. Then I had to let lunch settle ….

Wk 6 - Complete
Turned the phone on and off and just started using my phone's timer as I didn't want to stop
running
. I'm sure I ran for 25 minutes, probably closer to 35 as I did want to short change the run. I'm calling it complete and look forward to Wk 7!!! So loving this programme! Thanks...

It’s a game I like to play with the local residents … name that tune from an unrecognisable snippet warbled by a mad woman

Was that owl cheering me on?
I have just got back after completing my first run of week 9, 30 minutes of
running
non stop. I am very fortunate that I live in a village and I, now, run (👍) down a quiet lane with fields either side.
