Week 6 started
Running
circuits around a park made a nice change from the out and back route I usually do. Hope everyone has a lovely Christmas and enjoys their runs!

Back at it!
After about 6 weeks of colds and low moods the comments and posts on here motivated me back into my
running
shoes.I restarted C25K last night (having already completed the course a couple of times).W1R1 completed followed by short gym session (and walked there and back), amazed how good I feel already

Week 7 - Done and Dusted
Can't believe that I am actually
running
25 minutes at a clip. It's slow, but that's ok. The Toxic Ten can be tough to get through, sometimes. And I've learned this week that every run is different. First run was great and confirmed that I could repeat what I did last week.

Break for the Holidays...Help
My 4-yr old grandson will be out of school for two weeks and just the thought of him waking up early, being loud and
running
around the house all day is something I had to prepare for mentally.

Wet, wet and wetter
Not going to take coach Bennet's advice on the fun of puddles until I've bought some waterproof
running
shoes. My feet still haven't warmed up 🥶 Any recommendations for all weather
running
shoes and gear welcome.

Something Has to Give!!
I see the EP on Thursday but we are
running
out of options. I am waiting for him to tell me that we have nothing else left to try. If I could just sleep, things would be so much better..... The goofy Atach happens mostly at night, although it is beginning to happen more and more during the day.

UPDATE: Would You Like to Have a Patient Led MPN Support Group in Devon and Cornwall?
They would also like to hear from you in order for you to register your interest in any support meetings once things are up and
running
. Alternatively you can continue to reply me here on this site.

5K morning races - do you run fasted?
I enjoy the challenge, the new terrain and
running
with others. It's been a bonus to get an accurate chip time and my last run was exactly 47 minutes, which was a faster time of 8 seconds on the previous run! I'm happy to keep these races slow.

Just need some encouraging words
Had some much psychotherapy that I am
running
out of counselors. Am currently on my fourth week of TMS which I had to fight to have approved by my insurance carrier. No social support group and no family left and almost no finances.

week 5 complete
20 mins of
running
. I would have said that the app was bonkers even a week ago but I did it. I looked like a sweaty old mess. But I did it. And if I can give anyone any advise on this it would be to just do it.

Where to start with Strength and Flex?
I always do dynamic stretches before
running
and static stretches afterwards, as well as the 5 minute warm up and cool down walks.

Did a bit of gardening as exercise… 😉
So to recover a bit, I told myself there would be no rowing, no
running
and no active walking but a bit of gentle gardening. So all my patio vegetable plants are now all in their place, and I have had a gentle workout, both in the morning and afternoon.

Feet, don't fail me now!
I will ponder what it is people who like
running
in the rain like about
running
in the rain, and if necessary, pretend I am one of them. I have time for a bit of a warm-up and yet another pit stop. Or two. I am calm, I am not nervous, Iamnotnervous

My longest run to date - 11 miles (18km) (half marathon training.
I was feeling nervous about this run even though I’d ran 10 miles a couple of weeks ago (there were a few more
running
buddies to encourage and support each other). I planned the route using ‘footpath’ and 5 of us set off (1 doing a shorter run as not
running
the half so just started with us).
