OK, so I've done really well since July when I started running, to not get injured. I had a few niggles throughout the C25K ..... sore knee and sore foot which went away after putting ice and Ibuprofen cream on it etc. Now, I think I've bruised my tendons on the top of my foot. I spoke to the Dr and he seemed to think it was possibly tendons. The strange thing is, once I start walking or running, it's not too bad. I've put a compression sock on today, to try and support it and will try ice tonight. I usually go running on a Tues, Thurs and Sat but wonder if it's best to leave it tomorrow night and hope I can go on the parkrun on Saturday.
Does anyone have any idea how long it will take to ease up, and is it just a case of rest and ice etc. I don't want to lose fitness by not running ??
Thanks in advance for anyone's suggestions !!

Same thing happened to me this week! Can't get GP appointment so not sure what to do. Warm up and stretches done and shoes are good. Any ideas or is it rest and ibuprofen?
🍏So sorry to hear you are also having a problem. Yes I would rest it until you can see a GP or a physio. Although problems appear similar they can be entirely different & need to be seen if the pain continues after a a few days of rest, ice, elevation etc. Hope you get sorted soon! Let us know how you get on!
