Anyone else just tired??
No matter how much I work out, go to work... even enrolled in school I just feel as nothing is enough and mentally I am struggling to keep pushing myself and no matter how hard I work it's like I feel as if I'm
running
in a never ending tunnel. 🫠

And it was just that - a great day to be out and
running
- my slowest time here (5 mins more than last year) but that's no worry. Happy

The reason Im so proud is that last year, I had to walk up one of the ploughed fields as it is one of those cruel slowly climbing inclines, but this year,
running
with two of my best
running
buddies, I challenged myself to grit my teeth, dig in and RUN up , and run up we did!!!

I love the way running makes you feel - after!!
I’ve done a lot of reading and I think it may be pelvic floor dysfunction… although who knows 🤷🏻♀️ Either way, to enjoy my
running
at the moment, I have to run, walk, run walk and so on, else the pain comes on very badly and I have to stop
running
altogether and just walk.

Steroid rash
Can it be managed naturally without
running
off to the surgery. I use make up when I go anywhere but I wonder if that irritates it further. I am reducing my Pred. but I'm on 9mg still.

making the most of rest day
Whether you are
running
on non
running
today I hope it’s as lovely where you are - it’s certainly a great motivator to get out when the sun is shining! 😊

I have slipped off the
running
bandwagon. I have not given up completely but my runs have been sporadic at best, so back to the beginning and get the rhythm back. The good news is that having done it before, I can do it again. It is nice to be back and reading all the stories and adventures.

Any walking-related calf-strain experience out there?
It is really annoying, as I never get a calf strain from
running
, but standing and walking too fast … voila… and I find myself on the injury couch again.

No running for me for 2 weeks 😭😭
After some oral surgery today I’ve been advised not to run for at least 2 weeks. I’ve just got to w6r3 so will have to go back a few weeks when I get back into it. 😢. O well fingers crossed 🤞 I’ll manage a run in time for Christmas 🧑🎄🧑🎄

Just for fun: Black Friday bargains!
One of my favourite things about
running
is buying
running
kit and I absolutely love a bargain! I thought it might be fun to share our shopping… Anybody ordered/bought anything they’re pleased with?

Week 8 Run 3
Did a different route,
running
around the parking lot of an industrial complex - less lawn, fewer flowering trees, etc - and it felt much better than the last two runs. So I'm pleased to think that my difficulties might have been pollen. Week 9 next week...can't wait.

First day
Wondered if the rest day was really necessary as this isn't overly challenging and I have done quite a lot of
running
in the past (not for the past two years) but see that skipping rest days is really not recommended, especially if you have old
running
injuries like me, so I will be sensible and follow

Baker’s Cyst, Medial Meniscus tears
I have been
running
since my mid-teens but stopped
running
soon after being diagnosed with PMR (I did have a few weeks when I was originally diagnosed and was on 40 mg - I was
running
on trails with my dog - felt like I could do anything! I hadn’t run for 5 months at that point.)
