Not posted for a while so thought it was time for a short update. After a nightmare end to last year (calf injury, knee injury, two rolled ankles) I decided after a couple of months out to redo C25K for the third time. I know the programme works and will get me back to where I need to be. Just finished week 4 which saw me running in three different countries in February (England, Scotland, Hungary - week 3 runs were along the Danube river early morning - amazing) and I’m loving the it again. Feeling the fitness slowly coming back is so rewarding. So the plan is complete the 9 weeks, consolidate for a while and then back to the 10K Magic Plan (which I nearly got to the end of before the calf injury). You’ve got to have a plan! Happy running everyone!
Third Time Around: Not posted for a while so... - Couch to 5K
Third Time Around
🍏A run along the Danube sounds magical to me!! It’s fun running in different places & adds to the running experience! Many of us like you have revisited as we know it works!! Well done and glad it’s going well. Yes I love a plan too. It keeps me focused. I do hope you are able to fit in a bit of Strength & flex too to help prevent injury. There’s a great one going at the moment by James Dunne. Thanks for popping in & let us know how you are getting on! 😊
Hello again!
Good to see you back here and well done you... Lots of lovely, lovely runs done there, after all those injuries..ouchi!
So many of us repeating or have repeated Couch again including me and I am building back to 10K too, with Magic Plan of course... just about to finish Week 4, snow permitting.
Really looking forward to your return and your posts! Well done you!
