Yep, I tend to feel all that as well. I’ve heard from others, and also experienced myself, a sense of my brain just slowing doing and being numb. There is also the sense of not fully engaging whatever you do. It is very disconcerting.
Nevertheless, you have to look into your heart of hearts and both be kind to yourself, and believe that things will get better.

School provides an excellent opportunity to connect with others and engage socially. It's surprising how many students share similar sentiments until they discover common ground. Having recently completed my postgraduate degree, I find myself contemplating my next steps. I'm drawn to the idea of returning to school to further stimulate my intellect and pursue educational endeavors.
At 23, I was active in fitness, employment, and social activities. Without a specific role model, I navigated my path independently. However, I found clarity when I began working in the lucrative oil and gas industry, where I gained valuable skills and responsibilities. Stepping out of your comfort zone can lead to growth and success, and I also suggest considering religious channels for guidance and inspiration.- Hope this helps Jessica
I fail at it but some people here have mastered it and could advise you better than me, meditation. It may free your mind some. Others do yoga. Check out You tube, there may be some good instructional videos to help you learn about it.
