hello,
Still around and still keeping going. Another tough week this week, because I have had to cope with first COPD exacerbation. What an idiot I was all those years ago, especially since I always viewed I wouldn't smoke because of living with a father who smoked 80 -100 a day - I still really don't know

Road to recovery !
I changed my lifestyle , diet and I
quit
smoking
and stop caffeine . I have occasional coffee like one a week or so but not more. I stopped worrying so much why do I feel like this and in my head start thinking that all I feel is a symptom of my anxiety and nothing more .

Whether you’re a teen smoker or a lifetime pack–a–day smoker, quitting can be tough.

Cannabis And RLS
I
quit
smoking
18 years ago and will never smoke anything again. Pot can be eaten takes longer to take affect, and is more effective than smoking it for medicinal uses. If you want to try it you have a lot of reading ahead of you to learn what the best Strains of Wheeed are for RLS.

Day 11, going strong. Good news from GP
You might recall I've
quit
CT from my secret
smoking
habit. 11 days in, going great. I told you all about the nagging chest pain I've been having. I was anxious and frightened but have listened to the sage advice from many of you here and had a GP appointment earlier this morning. All OK!

Smoking
I have a question for all you ex-smokers. what stage of copd were you at when you
quit
? Or maybe your still
smoking
. What was your fev 1 when you finally got rid of the smoking dragon? How about some pointers for the fools among us. Did you feel better? Did your peak flow go up?

Should I go back to smoking?
Hey guys I haven't done a weekly post last week, well lost another 1lb of not smoking which is good I think I'm on my third week but honestly I'm not counting as taking each day as they come, well my dilemma is I recently found out that my mum has cancer, and I'm completely stressed down and don't know

Simplicity...
My advice to a friend who
quit
smoking
and to all who are trying to over come such a dirty habit...just remember Smoking is not a need in your life it is a want...so stay strong because your body does not "need" it... Cheers

Gives me and others hope.
In fact, a person who is in the early stages of Bullous emphysema who quits
smoking
could have the same life expectancy as any other person.
Quit
smoking
is the first step I did 4 years ago this March. David1968

Happy Days
Hi everyone, I am a bit infrequent on this site these days, but would just like to say to anyone out there that it is soooooo worth stopping
smoking
! I prefer to say
quit
or stopped rather than giving up. To me "giving up" insinuates that it was a pleasant pastime, rather than an evil addiction!!

Chronic Bronchitis Or I'm Just Paranoid?
The most that I did is 3 days/week but I probably skipped a week or two of
smoking
after that. 5. Finally
quit
smoking
cigarettes and weed back in May of this year, 2014. 6. Experienced withdrawals at around 3rd week of May 2014 and lasted until I think last week of September. 7.

Smoking
So I've decided to stop smoking. I'm only 23 and I've smoked since I was 15. I also have asthma! This is my first day off them, but throughout the day my chest has been feeling tight and my breathing slightly wheezy from time to time! Is this normal? I really hope I haven't done any real serious damage
