Hello dyonnasmom
I'm in the same boat as you with these panic attacks and I have a 4yr old lil girl and I'm a single mom
I have many symptoms I wish would go away. I'm always so terrified of dying it's all I think about. Not a way to live I know.
What symptoms do you have and when do they occur? Just out of the blue? The best thing you can do is distract yourself as soon as you feel it coming on
Hello
First well done quitting smoking , that takes some real determination & strength & dealing with anxiety takes the same & you must be a lot stronger than you think as most of us are , we just don't see it
Have you been & spoken to your GP about how you are feeling ?
After a year of stopping smoking I would have thought or hoped the withdrawals would have gone by now but it sounds like your anxiety has increased & there is so much help if it be counselling or medication that can help nowadays if we ask
I know you can feel like you are dying & this creates more fear which then creates more anxiety but I am sure you will be around for many years & will watch your daughter growing up to be a beautiful young women , the thing that you need to try & do is work on this anxiety so while you are bringing up your daughter you will have some quality to your life which anxiety tries to strip away
