quit smoking, feel good?
I had my last ciggie on 8th April so I am now nearly 6 weeks smoke free. I went cold turkey. After a week I put my back out and I was in so much pain :( Went to the docs, got painkillers and had physio. As soon as I took the painkillers I got really bad indigestion and constipation. Went back to

Non smoker / Ex smoker
My husband 20 years ago put his smoke out and said I give up I'm not
smoking
anymore and never really had any cravings. I
quit
smoking
and then was doing the sneaky ones once for 9 months, then thought Bugger it these cravings are never going to go away.

My dentist have asked me to

prior to the procedure. I have asked him to schedule my next appointment after one month as I need time for quitting my smoking habit. I smoke nearly 5 cigarettes a day and I'm not sure if I can quit it all of a sudden. I need some advice, please help!!!

Here is my story... I was fine smoking 20 cigs a days approx... Before this happened to me I had drinks two days before and ate out next day in a restaurant... Highly acidic food I would say. The day it happened I had black coffee and smoked two cigs in my wash room and after that begun bath. While

Checking in and update
Hello everyone, hope all is well.. Just wanted to pop on and see what's happening and to offer an update...Anyone that has met me on here - I didn't drop off! So. I still haven'smoked. And I feel pretty good - no real cravings I can't control. They are less frequent but more from memory rather than urge

First Post - Day 2
Good morning :) It's my second day smoke free, yesterday was tough but keeping busy really helped. I'm on day 11 of Champix which seems to help a lot, last Thursday I went most of the day without a cigarette which I put down to the Champix. I've been smoking around 15 a day for about 18 years now and

Champix does not work for me
I am beyond frustrated with Champix and want to give up, but seeing these posts makes me want to hang in a little longer...but I fear that the desire to
quit
smoking
will not be reduced...especially with this drug.

Progress
I
quit
smoking
cold turkey on November 3rd, 2015 after ~10 years. It has been a battle but I have not taken a single puff since then. I feel so much better. I have smaller urges now only when I am stressed or in a bad mood.

3.30 am wide awake.
Bit of determination, a huge amount of support, if and when needed,,....... we can
quit
smoking
. So for tonight, I will read a little more, in that I will gain, a little strength, and motivation, just to keep going. And that I will.

Quit smoking for 4 weeks 😊
So I've
quit
smoking
for 4 weeks now I'm pretty healthier than i did before i was constantly tired and felt unwell tbh i just felt half dead think it was due to lack of oxygen to my body. Only thing I'm having is bad cravings for a smoke but I'm coping by just ignoring.

I had
