Told to
quit
smoking
and use salbu whatsit inhaler as required. Is that par for the course? Are e-cigs OK? Nothing about follow ups, this was on the phone with the GP, not an office visit. Made up reckon it ain't too bad but looking round the inter web maybe worse thanI thought.

New here and just started getting all day anxiety a few days ago
I started a prescription of generic Zyban to
quit
smoking
. I never even considered anxiety as a side effect when I started it (I should have). The first day was fine actually. The second day it just randomly triggered sudden panic. I took a clonazapam (my BF has a prescription for them.

Just Told I have COPD at 39 I am freaking out
I
quit
smoking
as soon as I was told and never plan to smoke again. I just want some positive post that I can look at when I feel down because I made the mistake of heading straight for the internet when I got home from doctors and and looked at some bad stuff.

Is shortness of breath normal when quitting smoking cigarettes?!
Hello, I've been using the nicotine patch to help
quit
smoking
. I'm on day 11. But the last few days, I've had a really hard time breathing. Even when I'm just sitting down. I have shortness of breath and a rapid heartbeat. Any idea what's going on?? It's getting really bad. Thanks!

Newbie, desperately in need of motivation
I then
quit
smoking
, I'd decided to start running and these to habits did not quite go together. But that is pretty much where everything started to fall apart. I've been yo-yo-ing, picking up and losing the same 5kg's, but I could pretty much maintain my weight with running.

Really struggling with week 3
Not only am I really struggling for breath, even when I slow my pace down (I've just
quit
smoking
2 weeks ago), my legs are in pure pain. I work a busy job where I spend up to 10 hours on my feet in a busy environment. Anyone got any tips?

My story of treatment but now a problem can you help?
I
quit
smoking
but cheated having one now and then but now none. My question is: after usually being in the hospital about once a year, my copd has crashed 3 times since the first of December. Once it was with broncus spasms. How can I avoid this?
