I'm always bored, what should i do?
My new year resolution is to
quit
smoking
weed and cigis, honestly it's not as hard as people say (that's what i can tell after three days not smoking) it's just i get a lot more free time. I had nothing to do before, and now i have even more free time to do nothing.

Quitting smoking
As some of you already know I
quit
smoking
5 weeks ago while having bronchitis, I took the antibiotics and I was feeling great. then I got a soar throat and I felt that I had like a knot in my throat. Went to the gp and said it's a throat infection and gave me Cefalexin...

Does it Count?
Note: I started the C25k at the beginning of August,
quit
smoking
(smoked for 35 years) at the beginning of September, so I'm thinking that's where my breathing troubles really lie... It's improving but still a bit of a struggle at times... the legs is willing, but the lungs.... meh....

Does anyone else here have small cell that's been in remission for awhile
I am trying to stay positive and start getting my immune system in line, I have been
quit
smoking
since the day they found the mass. Smoked for 20plus years and no problem quoting once I knew my life was on the line.

One final thing: in my opinion, the main reason this is referred to as a "progressive disease" is because people are so addicted to
smoking
that they refuse to
quit

day 11 and counting and struggling a bit... at home
So after a decade of
smoking
, I decided to
quit
. Mainly because I was going for knee surgery and couldn't smoke in the hospital, so figured I'd try and see if I can quit.

Back Again
Hello, I
quit
a wee while ago and ended up
smoking
again. I was finding it really hard emotionally and my mood was really bad. I suspect more to do with forgetting to put patches on and having the odd one wasn't helping......

BALLOONS!
I had
quit
smoking
, was walking and exercising for a couple of months, doing great! Then a Dr started me on methotrexate injections for a mild form of psoriatic arthritis. After the 2nd injection, complained shortness of breath. She said would keep an eye on it!.

Puzzled
As you can see in my profile, I
quit
smoking
in the 80's, but I was still diagnosed with emphysema in 2015. I'm puzzled as to how that can be after so many years of "clean living."

Why do I now have emphysema 10+ years after I gave up smoking?
After having given up for a year, we immigrated to the Gold Coast, Australia in 2000, but I started
smoking
again. I finally
quit
in 2006.
