I had
quit
smoking
cold turkey in 2007, I kinda restarted at the beginning of 2012. And of course it got worst until I couldn't hide it anymore and had to let my fiancé know. Things were fine until I got pregnant and of course this is not good so I had to figure out to quit again but couldn't .

Another go
Quit
smoking
for two and a half months prior to my holiday, stupidly I though I'd have a few on holiday and then return to not smoking. However, here I am back on 20 a day!! 11am today is my quit time and this time it has to be for good!

A bit of my history I
quit
smoking
9 years ago after 15 years of
smoking
. 21 years of age when I started, 36 when I
quit
and I am 45 now. I had a chest xray in 2013 when I had palpertation and that came back clear and it showed nothing.

Why I'm currently taking a break from weight loss + seeking tips from those who quit smoking whilst eating well
So I was never the most active person on here but I've been on a break for quite some time. I've been taking Varenicline (Champix) for a while and been smoke free for 23 days now. The treatment is meant to be 12 weeks long. I never thought I'd be able to quit before taking this medication but I seem

My dad's story
My dad was my hero as sick as he was he always tried to help others and I wanna continue to get his story and video out there so it can help others to
quit
smoking
. I know that is what my father would want me to do. My dad fought everyday to stay alive because he wanted to live.

Day nine quit smoking
I quit cold turkey nine days ago. The first week was a little tough. Quite a few days spent feeling sorry for myself. Watching sad YouTube videos and crying and couldn't sleep well at all. Basically I was moping 🙁 I trialled having a drink with friends 🍷and not smoking and got through that. Proud

Quit smoking
Today is 53 days since I
quit
smoking
, I know I still have a long way to go I just want to say the last few weeks changed me as a person and made me better person, I feel like the devil left my soul. And it is getting easier each day that goes by. Stay strong and we could beat it

Anxiety, and withdrawl
Anyway, a few months ago, I
quit
smoking
marijuana, I was quite a heavy user and went cold turkey after a night out and a joint landed me in A&E with SVT. It basically scared me into not smoking anymore, a blessing in disguise.

6 days tobacco free but vaping.
Hi new to this site. I was a heavy smoker for 20 years and decided 6 nights ago to smoke my last cig. I lasted cold turkey for almost 15 hours than gave in to my e cig better choice than a real cig. I want to use the ecig only as an aid and be completly nicotine free sooner than later. My biggest problem

Good morning and happy Sunday all... Tomorrow will be 1 month for me, I am so excited ( I think ). Eleven Days........never thought I could do it
Hi All Eleven days now, I haven't posted for a few days, I always go away this time of year, I find it very hard to cope on the anniversary of my sons death. I came through that trauma without a need to have a puff, so I guess I can do the rest. The support on this site is great, even just reading

PLEASE! Anyone else....
struggling to
quit
smoking
while going through panic/anxiety and depression?? I am, and it seems to make everything worse. I SO badly want to quit and each night I tell myself I will do better the next day. Sometimes I do, and other days I don't. I am terrified to quit and terrified not to.

Teeth and gums problems since quitting....
Since I
quit
smoking
, they have deteriorated dramatically and my confidence is just shot, I only smile with my mouth closed and only open my mouth slightly when talking as so conscious and paranoid about it. I have money saved up at the moment and really want to get my teeth sorted.
