4 months smoke free
I have more free time in my hands to do something else rather than
smoking
. Honestly, I became more productive now that I
quit
smoking
because most of my time is focused on doing things that is helpful for my whole being.

Horrible disease
It's especially frustrating because I
quit
smoking
23 years ago. I never expected this to happen. I know there is no cure and I'm only going to get worse.

One day at a time.....
, ONE DAY AT A TIME is the key technique which gives the smoker the strength to successfully
quit
smoking
and stay free from the powerful grip of nicotine dependence.

Quit Cigarettes, Thyroid took a Dump!
Long story short after finally seeing progress on 100mcg Synthroid I made the terrible mistake of quitting
smoking
! Now I’m such a fool I decided to
quit
cigarettes, been two weeks clean now. And I can feel that my thyroid just took a big dump on me, as if I just went down a dose or two!

Don't see any activity but here goes!
I am recently
quit
smoking
. Over a month in and I'd like to replace the bad with something good. Running. I decided to run for a timed fifteen minutes straight- it felt great.

Stopping
Smoking
(mental) This is your actual
quit
. Every time a
smoking
opportunity arrives your subconscious will prompt you to smoke. It doesn't make the blindest bit of difference whether you're sucking on an inhalator or whether you've sprayed something under your tongue.

mentally preparing for this life change (healthy eating)!!
hi all, I have recently
quit
smoking
on November 20th, I'm 16 days in. Well needless to say, I've packed on some more lbs. I'm only 5' tall and weigh a whopping 172 lbs. My goal is to extend this life change to include a healthy diet when I hit 30 days of being smoke free.

Body aches and everything seems pointless
Hi, I am 3 weeks and 3 days in my
quit
cold turkey. I am ok with not
smoking
, although have to admit been completely avoiding trigger situations up to now. My majority of issue/concern is the body pains and lack of interest in almost everything.

Research -Tomato rich diet may reduce and reverse COPD
Every year, around 55.4 percent of all adult smokers attempt to
quit
smoking
. Smoking cessation dramatically reduces the risk of disease, including lung diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and lung cancer, as well as early death.

Quitting smoking
I
quit
smoking
for seven years before. I started back up again during my divorce. Now it seems harder than ever to stop again. I'm reading people's stories on here and trying to get some tips.

Asthma newbie diagnosis
I normally experience shortness of breath on a daily basis, but since it's a year since I
quit
smoking
, almost zero coughing or wheezing. But I have a lot of coughing and wheezing if I laugh too much or if I run in the cold outside, actually I stopped running for that reason.
