Does anyone find nicotine patches useful? If so to what extent? And do they compensate for the desire of the harshness of the cigarette.

For me personally they do take the edge off cravings but ultimately it's mostly willpower.im on day 33 and use patches, gum, and an inhaler, may sound excessive but I haven't smoked a cig so I'm winning.

Some people it's pure will power others NRT but I guess you'll find out what's best for you.

Good luck 😉

I used the patches and they got me through the first week. They leave red squares on your skin - I can still see where the one I wore 7 days ago was. They do nullify the cravings. It just feels a bit like now I have to give up the patches. They have helped me break the habit though.
