Me and my partner both started the couch to 5K today as we have both recently given up smoking using the NHS quit to smoke app which is where we came across this app. 33 days smoke free and feeling great, now it’s time for another challenge to keep focussed.
I will keep updating as I progress through the daily/weekly steps.
Let’s keep the support up for everyone out there doing the couch to 5K, it’s difficult but together we can do anything 👍🏻

Welcome to you both. Congratulations on the 33 days... that demon is defeated now, though will offer you a test from time to time. Of course, you’re stronger than he, so you’re gonna be just fine.
There’s some similarities between quitting the smokes and staring to run. Both need determination, and self belief is a huge help in both. You’re bringing the right skill set.
Have a read of the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5... which covers a lot of things that will help you along your journey... not least to run nice and slowly and to stay hydrated.
Hi....Good for you guys. I stopped Smoking 10years this October , after smoking for 32 years...I think my program was new lead.
Anyway this C25K Program is Absolutely brilliant, I'm on my final run Tuesday, but when I started I couldn't even jog/run for 60sec straight up, I was disgusted.
So when lockdown began I thought right here is a perfect opportunity to get fit, with no excuses. So I joined it and it one of the best decisions I have ever made. GOOD Luck. 🙂😷💯🏃♂️👌
