G’Day All,
I’m 45 ish, October I quit heavy smoking and started training 5-7 days a week then changed diet then tore a calf muscle, when that calf repaired I tore the other one.
I have no one in my life which is ok but I don’t even have a goldfish as I work away so I do a bunch on my own.
I can’t say I followed the program to a tee but this morning for the first time since I guess before I was born I ran 5k non stop in 35:06 and am pretty proud of myself.
I posted this because like those before me and those to come, it’s important for people to know that it’s achievable.
Y’all rock and remember baby steps are still steps, and a beautiful lady I know said to me once that when I’m struggling to keep going that the mantra is simple,”Don’t think, Just Run”
