Can you relate?
Every month I have to take each day I’m on my period: 3,200mg of ibuprofen, 240mg of codeine, and 4kg of
paracetamol
. If I don’t, the pain has me writhing on the floor (1/2 dressed as I start to sweat), moaning loudly.

Spotting, faint lines and cramping - the usual 2ww dramas
I had cramping last night - like period pain, I took
paracetamol
and assumed I’d have my period this morning which I don’t think I do. I started spotting last night - sort of jelly ish type pink/brown type stuff. I used a pad and this morning it’s just a few dark brown spots.

Should I try Ibuprofen or
Paracetamol
for a few days? I'm away from home but can go to the chemist tomorrow.

urethra pain
I am taking
paracetamol
to not much effect. No UTI had two tests. It is becoming unbearable. It is a pressure pain. I am sure it is not OAB. I have always suffered constipation , also had a hysterectomy a few years ago. I know my bladder is prolapsed somewhat.

POST-HERPETIC NEURALGIA
Hi, first time on here and hopefully might find some advice, if not it might prompt some to ensure they get the appropriate shingles vaccine. I was diagnosed with CLL in 2014 with my first round treatment in 2017. This went reasonably well and I then went 4 years before it was decided that I would need

Advice required please
I’ve been prescribed Amitriptyline, naproxen,
paracetamol
, codeine, celecoxib, and now Mirtazapine. I take Laxidol for my bowels and Esomeprazole for my stomach. I also use a hormone pessary for bladder irritation and Zopiclone, when I can beg some. I’m beginning to think I have fibromyalgia.

Is this PMR or something else?
I’ve tried
paracetamol
and rubbing in ibuprofen gel but nothing seems to be helping. I’m panicking a bit because we are due to fly to the US for Christmas on Tuesday and I’m currently struggling to just walk around the house never mind packing suitcases.

Covid and Prednisolone
I am sleeping a lot, keeping hydrated and taking
Paracetamol
when necessary. My excellent GP has retired and her replacement is rude and uninformed so feel it’s a waste of time contacting him. My back and ribs are sore but no trouble breathing. Have coughing fits then don’t cough for hours.

Pain relief for R.A - alternatives to what I'm using...
Hi there, I've had R.A since last September. I've been on MTX for the last 5 months and it hasn't worked, so I'm waiting to start on Adalimumab which I'm led to believe can take up to 12 weeks to become effective. So far I've had 3 steroid injections, along a 10 week course of Prednisolone to help

Fixed and leaving hospital.
And yes it's far less painful than I expected it to be, if it wasn't for the throat waking up to a multitude of things having been roughly shoved in it I probably could have made it through with just
paracetamol
.

Gabapentin and sciatica
I’ve just been taking
paracetamol
and ibuprofen. My doctor has prescribed Gabapentin but not started taking it yet. I have an appointment with NHS muscular skeletal clinic in a few days. The cause of my pain not diagnosed yet. I wondered what people’s views were on Gabapentin to dull the pain.

Pegasys and Liver Heath
My ALT and Potassium have gone up since I have been on Pegasys. Is there anything I can do (or not do) to improve liver function? I have a pretty healthy diet and will avoid acetaminophen going forward. I work out, drink coffee, all the things. Full disclosure, I do enjoy a glass of wine from time to
