Spotting, faint lines and cramping - the usual 2ww dramas

hey ladies

Interested in your thoughts and experiences- it won’t change my outcome but I’d like to hear from you!

I’m day 11 today and will get my beta later (I’m in Aus). I had cramping last night - like period pain, I took paracetamol and assumed I’d have my period this morning which I don’t think I do.

I started spotting last night - sort of jelly ish type pink/brown type stuff. I used a pad and this morning it’s just a few dark brown spots. Still some light cramps and I feel a bit uncomfortable.

I found out yesterday I also have a uti which I need antibiotics for.

I did a FRER and it’s the same consistent faint line.

I’m thinking this might be a chemical but obviously still holding out a little hope - it’s not over till it’s over!!!

Anyone had a similar experience?

good luck for the blood test results hopefully they will tell you more than these daft tests 🤪 they spotting sounds about normal and the cramping can be normal too. Everything that means one thing can also mean the other at this early stage it’s such a mind game at times! Xxx 💜🤞🏽

All fingers crossed! Sorry to hear about the UTI. I get those from time to time and D Mannose really helps me. It is a kind of sugar that coats your bladder and prevents the bacteria from sticking to it. Good luck!

I’m out, it was a chemical. Line pretty non existent now and I have a full on period. Not got beta results yet but they will only confirm the inevitable. I’m super sad, but comforted that I have one frozen left to try.

Hi TeddyBear. Oh dear! Dark brown spots are old blood which could be tied in with the cramps and UTI. You've got antibiotics, so carry on with any other prescribed medication and test on the day recommended by your clinic. Safe to take paracetamol too, but no anti inflammatories such as ibuprofen.
