Post Ablation Ramblings ....... Revenge of the Oesophagus
It was worse this time, especially between the shoulders but I resisted
paracetamol
as I'd already taken some before I went to bed. It has been better as the day has gone on so I'm hoping it won't be making another 4am appearance.

Use of NSAID SOONER?
I usually try to cope without either, then as pain gets worse try regular
paracetamol
. Only when I am desperate do I start with the NSAID. Is this the right approach? Should I start with the NSAID sooner to try to prevent pain progressing?

Post Ablation pain
I have been taking Colchicine, Codiene and
Paracetamol
. I just wondered if anyone else had experienced this and how long it lasted for. It doesn't seem to be improving at all. I also experienced a TIA 2 days later which hopefully I am all over now. I still seem to have jelly legs. Thank you

Paracetamol?
I’ve wondered before if
paracetamol
can help RLS? I sometimes think it helps me. I once asked Dr Buchfhurer & he said it has no effect.

Post steroid wean
My chest is sore and am taking
paracetamol
four times a day to keep on top of that. I still get sob on exertion and still have dizzy spells (I have 24hr heart monitor booked for this month). I'm just wondering, is this normal after weaning off preds and switching to hydrocortisone?

Medication
I gave him 10 mls of liquid
paracetamol
, which was ok'd by the GP who gave the vaccine. However, I'm now thinking I'm going to get accused of not acting in his best Interests because i didn't ask staff to get it from the Meds cupboard (it was off the shelf medication). Have i done anything wrong?

Support for lupus newbies
Followoing a tel consultation yesterday it is now almost certain I do have lupus after a few months of tests etc. I feel no sense of relief at finding out what has been going on all this time. I am also struggling to tell anyone even my husband - who knows I have been having tests. I can't imagine telling

I also take Amitryptyline 20mg at night and 30/500 Codeine phosphate
Paracetamol
. I have taken Tramadol and I found that good but I believe it is a opiate and hard to get off. I had no trouble coming off it. I think you have to try all to find what suits you as everyone is different.
