Burning legs
He is taking
paracetamol
and codeine at night which allows a bit of sleep. Other than that he wanders around then listens to the wireless half the night. I would be so grateful for any help. Oh. He walks for a good hour every day which he lives but doesn’t help the condition. Daisy

Non drowsy pain medication?
Hi all, I have endo between uterus and bowel, my left ovary is stuck to my pelvis and bowel and I have adeno as well. I've only tried ibuprofen, paracetemol, naproxen, codeine and co-codamol (over the counter strength) for pain relief and co-codamol works best to take the edge off. Unfortunately it

sleeping and waking problems
I’m down to 1mg daily of prednisone. Started on 30mg in November 2019. Since I dropped to this dose from a very slow drop from 1 and a quarter mgs,I’ve started to have trouble sleeping and some nights I’m awake all night. The nights that I do get to sleep, I wake up with a horrible headache. Once

Carpal tunnel syndrome in pregnancy- in agony no support from medics.
I have tried
paracetamol
it doesn’t stop the pain. I have tried ice in a tea towel made swelling worse. I am losing my grip on holding anything and am terrified I will one day drop my toddler. I phoned maternity department believing they would help me- I was not even allowed to speak to a midwife.

Soreness post hysterectomy
I was also given Codine to take as a pain relief… is it normal to still be needing 2-3 a day as well as
paracetamol
, 4 weeks in? I’m just hoping someone can tell me a bit about their journey so I can feel less alone in all this. Any advice would be really appreciated. Take care everyone ❤️

After some advice and some personal experiences!
I can’t take my usual painkillers (co-codamol or tramadol) because they make the bowel issues worse and I have the pain of my period as well as my tummy pain from the bowel with only
paracetamol
and naproxen that aren’t causing problems but don’t cut it at helping.

Metastatic prostate cancer chronic lower back and pelvic pain which gets much, much worse at night.
About 2 months ago (after chemo had finished) I developed a weird stabbing pain in my lower back on the RHS which was sort of manageable with
paracetamol
with no pain issues affecting my sleep. We thought it might be a kidney issue given the location.

Chronic back pain and pain relief?
Everything I read it seems I shouldn’t take ibuprofen only
paracetamol
which doesn’t touch the pain. Been seeing an osteopath recently but so far hasnt helped much. Hot water bottle and deep heat is what Im on constantly. Is this all i can have?

Pain managed with
paracetamol
and each day feeling a bit stronger. I’ve slept lots and just going with it. See the-consultant in 2 weeks for review and hopefully won’t need any further treatment.
