Anyone know how to deal with nasal congestion during pregnancy ?
I have to admit I did take a
paracetamol
and it kinda of helped . I am trying to avoid tablets I fear it will harm the baby.

No flu jab for me!
Went this morning to my pharmacy to get vaccinated against flu. I've never had a flu jab before and all my allergies were checked, taking up most of the space on the form but was stymied when it came to latex allergy. Pharmacist said he couldn't take the risk, - although NHS says it's negligible -

Tackling knee pain without injections or surgery
He warned me against having any injections into my knees because he said they give symptomatic relief but will over time destroy tissue, Eventually he said, they will not work, I am now 76 and with a minimum of effort ( I am no athlete) I keep mobile and relatively pain free, a couple of

Cannot cope with the cop out of excuses and the way you are treated if you cannot tolerate tablets like the Majority.
I have had a letter from my electro physiologist to my cardiologist stating that an ICD would not be appropriate in any situation in somebody who is unable to take any medication and had a sore arm last time she was in hospital via the BP monitor (Day 4 I asked for 1
Paracetamol
as I have a very slight

Could I have developed fibromyalgia as well as PMR?
At the moment I take 10mg prednisone. 15 mg methotrexate, 6 x5 mg folic acid, omeprazole , calci D 20 mg amitriptyline at night and tramadol and
paracetamol
when I need them. My GP thinks it might be a good idea to increase my amitriptyline .

Some notes on Mannitol

Paracetamol
is a ubiquitous analgesic and antipyretic that is widely administered, including by anaesthetists. Immediate hypersensitivity reactions to intravenous
paracetamol
are particularly rare.

Does paracetamol offer equivalent relief for Paramylgia Rheumatica as steroids?
I am hoping that
paracetamol
will give me relief but my symptoms have returned and are as bad as at the beginning. It is the first 2 hours of the day that are the worst and the
paracetamol
helps in this respect. Do I just suffer or revert to more steroids again??

Anyone suffer dry/burning mouth particularly interested if you take Xeljanz.
I'm not on any other drugs apart from
paracetamol
and thyroxine. It's so sore and is really getting me down. I've had blood tests done which all came back normal apart from slightly raised liver readings. Spoken to gp who prescribed artificial saliva spray and drops for oral thrush.

I did my W1R1 yesterday, and whilst doing it I got a head ache, not a massive one.. took some

when I got home and drunk lots, but it stayed the rest of the day as a 'heavy head' I've woken this morning with a 'heavy head' and a sickly feeling taken some
paracetamol
and again drinking plenty

Results:Ibuprofen was significantly more effective against human prostate cancer cells in vitro than the other tested nonprescription NSAID
"MTT analysis indicated that clinically relevant concentrations of ibuprofen significantly reduced the survival of LNCaP human prostate tumor cells. TUNEL analysis demonstrated that this was due in part to a significant number of LNCaP cells undergoing apoptosis. Ibuprofen also induced the same amount

Hydroxychloraquine
I spoke to a RA nurse last week (telephone consultations only at the moment) and she said to keep taking the Hydroxychloraquine, the Naproxen and up to 8
paracetamol
per day. I'm thinking about slowly stopping taking the Hydroxychloraquine to see if its what's causing these terrible muscle pains.
