Exercise and PMR
I had my flu jab with no ill effects, taking
paracetamol
as advised. Am due my Covid jab next week and a first shingles jab a week after. Have been trying to do about 1 - 1.5 miles walk on odd days to start building up my strength again and a few days ago I tried a few gentle exercises.

Now negative for Covid, is it okay to go back to last Prep dose immediately (7 days Sick Day Rule of 10mg extra)and when to restart taper?
I had Covid last week so followed Sick Day Rule of upping my 10mg Pred dose to 20mg (took 2nd 10mg in evening for 7 days). Tested negative today and feel much better, just a little bit coldy still. It wasn't a severe attack by any means (I'd actually had my Covid spring booster jab in late May so was

flare
Hi All I know that stress or a shock can trigger a flare, I am away in Spain at the moment completely chilled, last Friday I reduced from 15mg pred to 13 and a half, felt fine, out yesterday and had a lovely day, late afternoon had a bit of a shock that sent me into complete worry mode, I went to bed

Hysteroscopy - what to expect? Worried!!!
She advised if I didn't attend then I be put to the back of the waiting list again, and to just prepare myself by taking
paracetamol
an hour beforehand just in case I have it done.

Deep pain after BM
This is quite new to me in the last few weeks, I think others here have experience, I'd welcome comments. Not so long ago a good poo with much wind would relieve and the discomfort would pass at least for a while. Now it's even worse before, and immediately painful after, deep inside. It can be sharp

Leg pain post ablation
Saw GP, muscle strain, take
paracetamol
for 6 weeks. 2& half weeks later, dropped one
paracetamol
dose, pain is still really bad. Can’t lie on rt side in bed, puncture site feels restricted, hip really hurts. Is it related to op? Feels really weird! Any suggestions? Liz

In so much pain and feeling poorly
Can anyone suggest an oral pain killer apart from
Paracetamol
which is doing nothing. Can I take Ibuprofen with Prednisolone? 4. I should also mention that my spine is almost see-through at -3.9 at the last Dexa scan.

Then of course I got a bad tooth infection and have been on antibiotics for the last two weeks and took codine and
paracetamol
to ease the pain. The pain has now settled so taking
paracetamol
when needed but my point of this is to mention the painkillers.

New to T3, advice please
Other symptoms I have are achy neck, achy lower back, achy calves, a general unwellness where I feel I have to take
paracetamol
or ibuprofen. I have a query diagnosis over chronic fatigue/long covid but I suspect my symptoms are low immune system related and inadequate dosing.

I am feeling fairly tired most days and on bad days I have joint pain, slight nausea which is cured by two
paracetamol
and going back to bed. I am unsure if I should keep going and my system will eventually stabilise or should I go back a dose and try again in a few weeks?

Newly diagnosed PMR
The painkillers have made me feel queasy and out of sorts, (Co-codamen,
paracetamol
(didn't get on with naproxen) and ibruprofen, these just took the edge off. but left me feeling queasy and out of sorts. Now I'm on Pred 15mg for 4 weeks with a follow up GP appointment planned.

Negative SVT Ablation experience
The nurse kept asking me if I felt sleepy, as she had given me two shots of fentanyl and liquid
paracetamol
. I said no I’m wide awake and very uncomfortable, I could feel everything. She then looked at my arm, which had swollen up like a tennis ball!!

Hay fever medicines
I continue to have badly blocked ears and a runny nose for several weeks. I’ve only managed to see paramedics rather than a GP about it. I haven’t used any nasal sprays (other than saline) but would like to try anti-allergy medication such as antihistamine. Yet I’ve read that “A few common stimulating
