Ear wax
Hello One reason for a slight increase in T is that the audiologist, with whom I visited today, told me that the wax in both ears is probably not helping. Has anyone had micro suction and if so, were you OK with it?

coping strategies
hi all, I finally had my results from my mri confirming I do have a small AN. At least I know what is going on now, but how can something so small have such an effect! I am on watch and wait with another mri in august. My main problem apart from getting my head around something that is never really going

frustrated with restriction of naproxen
After an unsuccessful spinal fusion surgery in 2001(and 2 more since) I’ve been taking naproxen for about 15 years and get that together with a long list of other pain meds every 3 months,I’ve now been told I can only have 2 month supply of naproxen at a time which is messing up my repeat meds routine

Thyroid and adrenal issues, I’ve not posted for a while now though I do read all daily posts on the forum and have gained a better knowledge of complications as a result . However I have now almost reached the end of my tether after three years of debilitating pins and needle sensations over the entirety

Now suffering from Pulsatile Tinnitus.
My Tinnitus changed to Pulsatile Tinnitus after the Covid vaccine, 2 years ago. Feels like a thumping sensation in back of head when at its worse. Had all the tests, ct, mri etc. Blood pressure controlled by meds. GP says that in 30% of cases no cause is found. Is there anybody on this group suffering

Interesting fact about B12 levels.
Just found this interesting article on how B12 helps with ME and CRF. https://www.drmyhill.co.uk/wiki/B12_-_rationale_for_using_vitamin_B12_in_CFS One sentence in the article struck me. 'The "normal" levels of B12 have been set at those levels necessary to prevent pernicious anaemia - this may not

Provera for 1 week only
Hi Everyone, I started heavily bleeding on Desogestrel after 4 months so I asked to try Provera. The Dr would only give me a weeks worth, enough to try and stop the bleeding for my smear test next week. I thought you could take it for longer than that at a lower dose as an alternative to the mini

Is it GCA?
I have recent left temple tenderness that is tender to the touch and especially hurts when I yawn or open my mouth wide. Also, my jaw gets mildly sore easily. (usually from chewing). No headaches, really, but random tender spots that come and go. SED was 45 when this first started a couple of weeks ago

Hi folks, I’ve been posting on this platform for years, looking for answers and sharing my own experiences. I’ve had severe T for over 30 years. There have been incidences that have caused my T to increase. It’s either a bump to the head or the after affects of looking up, like when I’m painting a

length of time for biopsy results
Hi, had a partial lung lobectomy and lymph node removal, was told biopsy results would be back in 7-10 days. It’s now been 41 days and I’ve heard nothing. When I contact various people I’m just being told this length of timeframe is not uncommon.. this does not sound right to me… Anyone else had to wait

AMA positive with itchy skin
Not gonna lie, my head is still spinning since being AMA positive. I’ve recently had a fibro scan with score 4.7 which I believe is a good result. Of course with the help of Dr Google I’ve read some positive info about being diagnosed early. However, I’ve also found some articles where if diagnosed

5HTP for tinnitus induced insomnia
5 HTP appears to be helpful for many to improve sleep It apparently increases serotonin levels which are necessary for sleep However it appears to be a double edged sword as there is a lot of conflicting information that it aggravates tinnitus rather than ameliorating it Just wondering if anyone

Inner ear problem
Since starting Prednisolone in March 2022 my hearing has worsened, particularly my right ear. I keep my ears clean so wax is not the problem. I initially thought it might be an infection that would clear in time, Nearly 12 months later the right ear is still a problem the symptoms being regular gurgling

Dizziness, tinnitus, tingling
for about 3 weeks now I’ve been having tinnitus that comes and goes. For the last 2 weeks though it’s been constant in my left ear. I’ve been having horrid bouts of dizziness but not like the room is spinning, more like a buzzing feeling, like when you use an electric toothbrush for instance. I’ve been

Good morning All. I’m new here. I started with tinnitus just after Christmas. I believe it was triggered by some woodwork I was doing foolishly not wearing ear protection .!
