Vibrating in the ear?
Hi, Has anyone else suffered from the same issues I currently have? I have had tinnitus for over 13 years with the standard ringing. Over the last few months I have this feeling of vibrating in one ear. My ear will make a vibrating feeling which will last for a few seconds then stops. 20 seconds later

ENT specialist referral?
I'll try to keep this as short as I can. I've had occasional tinnitus since I was little,my mum has it too, but didn't realise, so we thought it was just something everyone had! Anyway, it's never really bothered me, but has gotten more frequent as the years have gone on.Sometimes I don't know it's

pulsatile tinnitus?
I've just had a light bulb moment!! I've had tinnitus for about 6 or 7 months. It occurred to me that its not ringing in the ears as such. When I 1st got it I thought I was hearing a neighbours washing machine at night! It was rhythmical, I then realised they can't be doing washing everynight! Lol

RLS and Akathisia are they the same thing?!
Hi am new to this and nervous. Just want d to share that 1 40mg propranolol late afternoon plus 2 25mg Ropinerole at bed time almost guarantees a good nights rest from RLS , for me! Also can anyone tell me if Akathisia is the same as RLS ? It has been mentioned in my diagnosis and am bit scared

Well that's not what I would have expected
I'm 46 and I have mild hearing loss (along with Tinnitus and Hyperacusis). For 2 years I have worn hearing aids, they're an improvement but they are not perfect. I'm curious about your experiences of hearing loss, especially around challenges with conversations... Rather than missing a word or phrase

MRI wait and telephone consultation. Long wait is good?
Hi everyone! I had my MRI on the 6th of September, as i’ve had tinnitus for i think a year now and after my hearing test i was told i had mild hearing loss in my left ear. Told it was protocol to have the MRI done to rule things out. I received a phone call from the clinic to book me in for a telephone

Loss of sense of taste
Feeling low since my third chemo session. I've lost my sense of taste again or rather nothing tastes as it should and my mouth itself tastes horrible so I have no enthusiasm for eating or drinking anything. And I've broken out in large spots all over my face. Just what I need now I have no hair to hide

I've been noticing I occasionally wake up with a LOT more "sleep" around my eye...
...on the same side as my Tinnitus - it doesn't happen all the time, but some days at random my right eye seems to be almost glued together. I've been getting no pain or anything - but it makes me wonder...COULD my tinnitus (which has got worse since first lockdown) or just the worsening of it, be due

Newbie
Hello New tinnitus sufferer for about 3-4 months now. My worse fear has come and I’m terrified and depressed. I know people that have died and others that have been ruined by the dreadful affliction.

Cr10 picture the scene...
Scene opens: Jericho opens his eyes and looks at the clock, it's 6am. It's pitch black and his bed is warm and inviting. The sound of rain lashing on the windows and wild winds shaking the house serve to confirm his gut feeling... A wry smile spreads across his face... No running today he thinks to

Worsened tinnitus
Hi, I wonder if anyone can give some advice. My 88 yr old mother has had tinnitus for a long time and has managed well with it. Unfortunately a couple of days ago it became a lot louder and she is having great difficulty coping and sleeping. It is a loud whooshing in both ears. I will contact her
