Pain after Venogram
I had a Venogram Tuesday, they went in through the back of my knee. My leg still hurts and I can’t squad or go up stair without lots of pain. Plus now my leg muscle are twitching. Has anyone had a Venogram and how long did the pain last and did you have any twitching?

Hello everyone, I'm new to the group and wanted to introduce myself. I'm Jim, I'm 58, and I was just diagnosed with PV on 10/15/18. I had a routine physical exam on 10/2 when my blood work showed that my Hct was >60 and my Hgb was 22.2. I was referred to a hematologist who immediately started me on

A Dutch awareness raising video.
Thought I’d share this from a Dutch insurance company (with English subtitles!) really excellent piece on prevention. It was produced to raise awareness of tinnitus and hearing loss ahead of an Amsterdam Dance Festival. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBg1ES1GWvc&feature=youtu.be Do you think it

Just curious if anyone else has severe tinnitus and hair loss from this medication. I'm on one grain and my levels look good. More hair loss on this compared to Tirosint same equivalent dosage. Also fatigue in the afternoon, falling asleep trying to watch anything on the TV by 8:00. TSH is 1.70 and my

Anyone have a dystonic tremor?
Hi peeps, was curious to see if anyone on this site has a dystonic tremor ? Have ruled out a few nasties including lupus at the top of the spinal chord and narrowing it down to a dystonic tremor. Symptoms are a twitching head....think its caused by a muscle spasm at the top of my neck.

Sudden ringing and head pressure
Has anyone experienced sudden ringing in the ears that just comes on suddenly with no warning or anything? I got it 5 times this year. Sometimes it triggers pressure in my ears. Yesterday, while off for a walk, there was a wushing sound in my ears that was getting louder, I didn't think much about it

Adalimumab
Having had little success with methotrexate, followed by SSZ and HCQ, my lovely rheumatologist has suggested I start on Adalimumab (Humira), at the end of November, bloods and chest x ray permitting. Do any of you helpful lot take it on it's own, as my consultant indicated that, due to my poor results

Ampyra question
I am seeing my neuro on Wednesday and want to ask about Ampyra. Whether due to MS, my mercury poisoning or something else, my walking has been getting steadily worse. Does Ampyra have side effects anyone has experienced? Is it addictive? I am on Ocrevus now, but it has had no effect on my walking

Manual ear wax removal
I see Specsavers are offering manual ear wax removal for 35.00 per ear. I got my left ear irrigated 8 months ago and as a result I am now haunting you guys 😁. My right ear is a bit gunky and I would now only have wax taken out manually. Anybody here used this service and does it need softening with

Post flare dizziness
Does anyone else get this? Some years back, before my asthma diagnosis, I got labyrinthitis. Unpleasant, but it clears up. Now I find that when I get really ill with a cold/asthma, I seem to get a brief return of labyrinthitis after. It is brief, but can be disconcerting. This time it seems to have happened

Advice please (stage 2)
Hi all, I posted a few days ago regarding pains in the top of my head and sore scalp. This was not responding to a variety of pain killers and got worse on Sunday so I phoned the GP out of hours service who recommended that I go to A&E, which I did. I was given a thorough check up and bloods were takes
