Antidepressant Medication caused my tinnitus
I started taking Sertraline about 3 weeks ago and developed tinnitus after taking them for 9 days, I then carried on taking them for another 5 days but the tremors were to hard to deal with. My doctor then put me on mirtzapine, I woke up this morning with screaming tinnitus which has calmed down but

B2 vitamin
I have recently come across having low B2 causing low mode, fatigue, skin problems, hair falling out etc. I have had some of the symptoms of low B2 I know my b12 is in the right range. A B2 test needs you to do a pee test. I’ve not ever been tested for low B2 and I’m wondering may be this is getting

Referral for MRI
Hi my audiologist referred me to have an MRI after my last hearing test. Nobody has explained why, but my own research has come up with acoustic neuroma. Any thoughts?

Tinnitus complicated by migraines
I have been getting migraines for several years now and get Botox injections for them. This seems to work well. Now after getting covid19 and developing tinnitus from it, the tinnitus seems to bring on more migraines and alternatively the migraines will bring on a more intense tinnitus. Just wondering

Have you lost your sense of taste as well as tinnitus and hearing?
I was reading a reply on another post where someone mentioned a loss of taste and smell. I have been suffering altered taste for at least 5 years - then 4 years ago 1 sided deafness and tinnitus and now 2 sided deafness. I can still smell things ok - mostly . I am always unsure if I have cooked food

Hello I’m a 21 yo male in the USA. Sorry for the long post in advance. About 4 months ago I would get random dizzy spells usually they would happen after work. Or in a car typically at night time. I’m not sure how to explain the feeling but basically it felt like my eyes couldn’t focus on anything and

Hello
Hi. I'm waiting for an MRI scan to confirm or rule out acoustic neuroma. I missed a scan in January because I was unwell so now I'm going in April. I have one sided hearing loss with intrusive tinnitus but no other symptoms. Is it possible to have acoustic neuroma without any balance issues? Thank you

Pulsatile or more common tinnitus.
I am new to this site and look forward to any help going. I have had tinnitus for years and over time my brain has handled it very well. Now the noise has increased and I have a continuous sound in my right ear. This sound is something like an engine running at various speeds with variations but constantly

Tinnitus ok
Hi me again. It's now over 3 weeks since I had my 3rd Covid vaccine. My T has improved considerably; it's high pitched, faint and in the background which is great. I'm also continuing with taking the Betahistine. I only take 1 tablet a day and this is enough to keep it under control until I see

Possible dangers of Micro-suction
In the last few days I have sent e mails to my local MP, and to the Government's Health Secretary and the Labour and Lib Dem Health spokespeople. This is about my concerns over the removal by many GPs of water irrigation to clear excess ear wax, and my worries over the possible dangers of the procedure

Odd sensation to ear
Hi. I am still awaiting a diagnosis of an AN. I was referred to ENT in May last year, hopefully not too much longer to wait. My symptoms are left sided tinnitus and hearing loss. Over the last 3-4 weeks I have started to develop an odd sensation to my left ear, almost like a tingling feeling. It's

The best hearing aids that can help with tinnitus
I have tried the NHS in the past they fitted me for one ear, I didn’t feel that they were helping and were itchy in my ear. I think it depends where you live as my brother has NHS hearing aids fitted in London and they are great. I am returning the ones I got from spec savers, I didn’t feel that they

Tinnitus
I recall that my Tinnitus started shortly after I began taking Blood Pressure medications some 10 years ago due to my stressful job. Never experienced it before. Now the Tinnitus comes and goes during most days. It usually comes when I get stressed over something or my Blood Pressure begins to rise above

CLL and Eustachian tube blockage
CLL causing Eustachian tube blockage? Does anyone suffer from this condition? Is it possible for the lymph nodes in the head to swell making drainage from the Eustachian tubes difficult ultimately causing deafness?

Tinnitus Spiking
I've had tinnitus since around 2012 when I went on a short course of an anxiety treatment drug. Its been steady ever since, peaking now and again but never getting too much worse. Just after Christmas I went quite deaf in one ear with a different tinnitus sound which lasted for a few days and then

Hello. I am a 49 year old male. I have been suffering with tinnitus for about a year, starting after a period of stress. It is in my brain rather than my ears (been to ENT/audiologist and my hearing is in the normal range for my age). T severely impacts my sleeping, getting quite intense in the middle

Tinnitus Sufferer
Hi, My Tinnitus, which for a few months in 2020 was sporadic, became continuous in the right side of my head later that year. Feelings of anxiety about it worsened when my referral to ENT was met with disinterest and I was only offered wax removal by micro-suction. I mentioned that I was hoping for

I have a bi-CROS hearing aid due to me losing hearing in my right ear in an unaidable way - now I am finding that I am having issues understanding speech in my good ear - which is quite scary - and all the audiologist has been able to do today is turn up my hearing aid (I can't - it has no volume control
