5HTP for tinnitus induced insomnia

5 HTP appears to be helpful for many to improve sleep

It apparently increases serotonin levels which are necessary for sleep

However it appears to be a double edged sword as there is a lot of conflicting information that it aggravates tinnitus rather than ameliorating it

Just wondering if anyone has experience with the 5HTP/ sleep/increasing ringing combination

I would only take 50mg

Any advice will be greatly appreciated

Thanks
