Neuromod
Hi all. I have now reluctantly cancelled my appointment with Neuromod next month. After several hearing tests which are all different, most show I have two lower range frequencies losses in one ear which are at 42.5/45 DB. Neuromod have confirmed that this definitely rules me out. I was going to chance

Neuro-Behçet’s or Fibro symptoms
It’s looking like I’ll get a diagnosis of Behçet’s but on research I’ve come across Neuro-Behçet and wondering if some of my current symptoms could be linked. At the moment I’ve felt they’ve been hidden under the Fibro heading. Facial pins and needles Hot spots on scalp, sometimes wet Random ‘numbness

Transition from Bisoprolol to Nebivolol
Hi - I've just moved from Bisoprolol to Nebivolol to try to address the stubborn insomnia I have - the transition is making me feel a bit physically strange, tired and light headed - is this a normal part of changing beta blockers? - I only had my first 2.5 mg of Nebivolol last night and again this AM

Recommendation for treatment at MD Anderson?
I had my six month follow up MRI yesterday and my 9mm AN has grown to 11mm. I have total deafness in affected ear; feeling of fullness in ear; and tinnitus. I am wondering if I am now at the point of needing to consult an "expert." As my daughters live in Houston area, MD Anderson seems like a logical

Tinnitus changing ears?
Hi. I'm wondering if anyone can explain my strange tinnitus case. I first noticed my tinnitus just over a year ago when I had an ear infection. Both the infection and the tinnitus were in the left ear, so I wasn't too stressed, figured they would both go at the same time. Then, I noticed the tinnitus

Tips for dealing with vertigo
I’m sure we’ve shared about this before, but would you mind sharing what, if anything, has helped you deal with vertigo? Dramamine has helped a bit with the nausea.

Watch and Wonder, but Do-no matter what stage!!!
Time to post the wondrous things! The gratitude for all the new treatments out there, the friendship we discover on the website and the support we find with each other. I know that I am one of the lucky ones and still in the watch and wait but my husband and I just completed a great accomplishment on

Have you kept any open bottles of synarel for your next cycle or did you dispose of them? Doesn’t say anything about discarding after 28days on the leaflet but the clinic have said bin it. At £90 a bottle I’m quite reluctant! Any advice?! Thanks lovely ladies Gx

Hi! So following a perforated eardrum that I had repaired 15 years ago, I was told I have mild hearing loss at high frequencies in my right ear... My hearing has remained stable up until about 2 years ago, and following Eustachian tube problems and near constant infections it has deteriorated and I've

High 5HT blood labs
Hi. Has anyone ever had high levels of serotonin in their blood work? I am aware it is linked to carcinoid syndrome. However my 5HIAA urine came back negative so this is a bit precarious. Please weigh in, if you know anything about this. TIA.

Louder tinnitus with headache?
I just wondered if any other tinnitus sufferer found their tinnitus increased whenever they had a headache or migraine. Mine seems to ramp up - even before I've taken medication (paracetamol, neurofen or a special migraine 'cure' named Maxalt Melt - which really works). After 16 years I'm pretty accepting

Targinact
I posted a few months ago about my hideous experiences with Lyrica. The consultant at Guys has put me on Targinact. Now this drug is having a terrible effect, or seems to. At first, two months ago, it had no effect, then things improved for a few weeks, then took a nosedive. About half an hour after
