Recommendations for books/websites about Hashimotos
I have been diagnosed with Hashimotos and am trying to find out as much information as possible. I have recently bought a book "The Root Cause' which I am working my way through, but am finding it a bit daunting as it seems to suggest gluten free diet, dairy free diet, egg free diet, low iodine, no

GCA, Pred and Imuran
Hi all. Diagnosed with GCA 4+ yrs ago. Had relapses at 1, 7, 5 and 4 mg pred/day. When I was on 8mg/d in July this year, Dr advised to take 15mg of Methotrexate once a week. Side effect was severe tiredeness days following taking the drug. Dr has now advised to replace Methotrexate with Imuran, an Azathioprine

Daughter with autoimmune probs
My 21 year old daughter has been worked up for Lupus for years. Her rheum says she has something autoimmune but no definitive diagnosis yet. She's on plaquenil and prednisone right now, prednisone has helped her tremendously with her pain. Unfortunately, she can't be on that forever so her rheum is talking

Do I have Hashimoto's or CFS?
That's the question I am pondering over at the moment. Hope that some of you may be able to offer some wisdom – to help out, this is the story so far (this is long – very sorry!): On 19 February 2015 I started to feel like I was coming down with a viral infection. There were things going round the office

Peeling skin
I came off my medication a little under a month ago so that my husband and I can start a family. I've since been taking omega 3 and naproxen. Omega 3 6 9 and arrythmia
Hello everyone. About 18 months ago my ophthalmologist suggested I take Omega 3 6 9 as it has been proven to help with dry eyes (sjorgrens syndrome) associated with my rheumatoid arthritis.(possibly helps with the latter as it has anti Inflammatory properties). Has certainly helped my eyes. Now
