I’m on prednisone and imuran right now but my doctor doesn’t think it’s working as I just started tapering off the prednisone and I’m already getting my symptoms back. He wants to do the biologicals with me now and just curious what people

Feeling Frustrated
Hey guys, I’ve been diagnosed with Crohn’s disease about a month ago now, and I’m just feeling pretty defeated. I’ve been put on prednisone and Imuran and they seem to be working on the crohns side of things, but it’s been making me super dizzy and I’ve been seeing double and having a hard time focusing

Omega 3
I am having quite a struggle with morning pain. Have been experimenting with split dose times of pred. I take omega 3 with evening primrose and flaxseed oils. Wondering if this was having an effect with the pred. I do not want to raise the pred so am looking for alternatives. As I am reducing I had read

Anyone know id NAC Sustain is Ok to take if you have APS
I was diagnosed with APS Syndrome over a year ago. I am Asymptomatic and never had a blood clot so the doctor does not want to put me on a blood thinner. Before I was diagnosed I was already taking multiple supplement's such as aged garlic, cayenne pepper, vitamin D, omega 3, turmeric, collagen, chlorophyll

Life is a living hell, crippling fatigue and brain fog
23, Male, Caucasian, 5'10, 165 lbs Hello all, I'm sure many of you can relate to my story so here goes. My health has felt like it’s been in the crapper for way too long. When I was 12-13 I was diagnosed with mild GERD (acid reflux). It affected my sleep a little bit from what I remember

Omega 3 in fish
I bought a copy of Gordon Ramsey's Healthy Appetite from the charity shop the other day and in it he writes about oily fish saying " The fish must, however be fresh - tinned tuna, sardines etc., won't give you the same benefits because most of those omega-3's are lost in the canning process". Does anyone

I did my sleep study…..well I tried to. How anyone sleeps with that contraption hooked up to them is beyond me. Between the

Change of clinic, change of attitude
I’ve had a productive couple of weeks recently that I wanted to share here as this forum helped me get out of my despair. I received NHS funding for 2 cycles at an excellent clinic in London, and have had my first consultation there - love the doctor. She said one failed IVF cycle doesn’t indicate needing

Supplements
My legs are exhausted for days after a long run despite them being relatively ok during the actual run. I have got to HM so far. I take a protein and carb drink after which enables me to manage the day, but I need help for the following days! I’ve got my first marathon booked for October but I’m worried
