Fish Oil Supplements
I have been faithfully taking Omega-3 (500mg) three times daily hopefully thinking it will help prevent my arrhythmia from coming back. Today I came across two articles by Verywell that counter this belief: https://www.verywellhealth.com/fish-oil-may-not-reduce-cardiac-events-study-finds-5088456?utm_campaign

anyone experienced nausea whilst taking NAC (N-ACETYL CYSYEINE)
I have been becoming increasingly nauseous over the last 3 weeks. I started taking 500mg twice daily of NAC (N-ACETYL CYSYEINE) about 3 weeks ago. This was prescribed by a nutritionist along with a B-complex and Omega 3. I was also taking L-theanine and Serotone 5-HTP - but I stopped this a week ago

Supplement advice post transfer
Hello, I am hoping someone can give me advice, especially those who have been through 2ww before. Can supplements continue after embryo transfer? I know I can continue vitamin D and folic acid but it’s the inositol and omega 3 I am uncertain about so would appreciate any advice? X

Why we cancer: food for thought?
I stumbled upon an article that made me wonder if PC is an affliction that has arisen, partly, as a result of our evolving need to feed our big, fat, energy-hogging and ever-(over)-thinking brains. Here's a link: https://www.direct-ms.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/Coffey.pdf This article popped up as

It is not Sunday - but I thought I would update you on my diet experiment
So, I went all out vegan on Sunday, I also stopped all oils including the Omega 3 red krill oil I have been taking for a couple of years, and other than a multivitamin and CalcD supplement stopped all other additions. Last Thursday, my Metoject Mtx dose went up slightly from 15ml to 17.5ml. On Sunday

Supplements and sulking...
Hi everyone... well 9 weeks into taking hydroxychoroquine I’m still having massive problems with my knees, so now on yet another course of steroids. I gave up drinking alcohol a week ago, I’ve just started swimming and trying to look after myself better - thought it would help but my knees are so sore

Vitamins
I am now down to 1/2 of a 1mg prednisone after almost two and one half years. My only concern is my red blood cell count is still up . I am thinking of cutting back on my vitamin D. The doctor has me on 2000mg but I was also on 25mg of prednisone . I am thinking I may only need 1000 now. I have stopped

Sitting Pain
I am 51 and was diagnosed at Mayo in January, after two years of multiple orthopedic docs, two spine surgeons, two pain clinics, various injections, a local rheumatologist who told me to get on with life (a female, surprisingly), an internist who wanted to send me to a month-long mental camp, and a boss

The Dr is going to give it a try! Started Synthroid yesterday!
Hi everybody, I’m new here and I posted 3 weeks ago saying that my dr didn’t want to give me Synthroid, but now he will! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Long story long, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto 15 years ago when I was 27 and never did anything about it. After reading a LOT here I realize that I’m not feeling good

Tyrosine
Has anyone taken tyrosine and had any positive outcomes? I already take magnesium Iron and B12. I have recently added Omega 3 but when looking into Pramipexole and dopamine I came across Tyrosine. It seems you can literally buy a supplement for anything these days but wondering if its worth looking

Blood results . Advice please
Hi. I did a Medichecks thyroid test earlier this year which showed raised Thyroglobulin Antibodies and a TSH >2.5. I am trying to conceive so I consulted an endocrinologist and was prescribed levothyroxine. I started on 25micrograms and increased after after one month as TSH was still >2.5. I tested

Help with blood test results
I have been Hypothyroid (Hashi) for 12 years and treated privately on 150 mag T4 only. Been feeling tired and lethargic. Looks like my antibodies have randomly spiked after being low for several years (obvs were high when I was first diagnosed). I have been prescribed T3 as a trial but have not yet

Which supplements to stop / take help
Just wondering if anyone can help me. I’m between egg collection and egg transfer and I’m confused as to what I should keep taking / stop / start taking? Any help would be appreciated. My transfer is this Monday so I’m just wondering what I need to stop. I’m currently taking: Ubiquinol 400 Prenatal

Fish oil without the fishy smell or taste.
A new study, co-led by University of Cincinnati researchers, describes the development of a refining process that scientists deem a superior method to help produce better dietary omega-3 health and dietary supplements containing fish oil. Fish oil is widely known to be an excellent dietary source
